Chapter 5440

As they moved closer toward the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion’s headquarters, James could seenumerous buildings erected within the area. James also spotted people flying quickly through the air, seemingly occupied with each of their errands.

James grew extremely curious about the founder of the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion. That person mustbe immensely capable and talented to have created this organization.

James looked at Lavrenti and asked, “How long has the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion been established? Also, how did your group come to exist in the first place?”

Lavrenti merely smiled without offering them any explanation.

Soon afterward, Lavrenti showed James and his companions to the main hall located atop one of thespiritual mountains. Then, he took his leave.

While James and the others were discussing what they saw earlier, they eventually heard the sound offootsteps in the corridor.

A bald man who looked to be in his thirties stepped through the door the next instant. The man waswearing casual clothes.

He walked over to the seat placed on the podium and sat down comfortably. A big grin hung on his faceas the man introduced himself.novelbin

“I am Shorru Yasar, the Deputy Pavilion Master of the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion.”

Shorru directed his gaze at James. “It’s an honor to meet you, James Caden.”

James gave a slight nod. “Hello, Sir Shorru.”

Shorru waved his hand dismissively. “You don’t have to be so formal around me.

I know you’re here to obtain information from us. You still have two chances to inquire about anyinformation from us for free. Go on and ask away.”

James asked straightforwardly, “I want to know the current whereabouts of the primitive inscriptionsoriginating from the Metallum, Silva, and Tellus people.”

“All of you should probably have a seat first,” Shorru suggested.

James and his companions took a seat in the empty chairs facing Shorru.

“The Metallum, Silva, and Tellus Races… The three major groups of Primevals…” Shorru let out asmall sigh.

He gazed at James. ‘The Dark World’s long history was plagued with war and chaos. During that timeof turmoil, one war stood out for its scale and intensity.

That war caused a redistribution of power among the people of the Dark World.

It had also brought about the rise of the Four Ancient Races.”

James was already aware of this part of the Dark World’s history. However, he was not sure whyShorru had started with this story.

James asked, “Is this somehow related to the primitive inscriptions that I’m looking for?”

“Mhm.” Shorru explained, ‘That devastating war affected the entire Dark World.

There were two teams of people waging war on each other back then. Both groups were slowlygrowing larger as they got more new allies to join their cause.”

James listened intently as Shorru continued, “In the end, the group which was led by the Four AncientRaces won the battle eventually. Meanwhile, all the cultivators who were on the losing side wereimprisoned.”
