James spotted the four students from the Tempris House. The group of them was cheering him on fromthe audience in high spirits.
“Watch out for the Caelandor. The sword once belonged to Sir Lothar,” Wael muttered to James in alow voice.
James gave a slight nod. Then, he teleported and reappeared on one side of the arena. The otherwoman teleported to the other side of the arena right opposite James.
Her long, black hair fell over her back. Even though her face was expressionless all this time, she stillexuded an aura of grace and elegance.
‘Who do you think will win the battle?”
‘Wynona Yurro, of course! She’s a legend in the Verde Academy. The Headmaster highly values herabilities and even gifted her the Caelandor Sword.”
“We haven’t seen her join any battles for epochs. I wonder how much she has grown in terms of powerand skills.”
“She must have improved way ahead of her peers by manyfold after having trained on the BoundlessRock for so long. I think only the senior students may stand a chance against her in battle.”
“Nevertheless, James doesn’t seem like an easy opponent.” On the other hand, several male studentswere on their feet and cheering for Wynona.

Although the sounds of people cheering and chattering filled the arena, the tension between Jamesand Wynona continued to build up as they stared at each other.
James appeared calm and composed as he stood with his hands on his back. Neither Wynona’sbeauty nor her reputation in the Verde Academy had affected him in the slightest.

James heard the lady speak for the very first time. He gestured with one hand and said politely, “Ibelieve it’s only right that I let the lady take the first move.”

“Ha!” Wynona chuckled softly. The lady reacted as though she had heard a silly joke from James. Justthen, the hem of Wynona’s skirt swayed a little even though the wind was not blowing.
She had not moved an inch. However, an immense wave of aura radiated from Wynona and headed inJames’ direction. Her aura was so powerful and destructive that it crushed the space along itstrajectory.

James took a few steps forward. As he was moving, the space around him was miraculously restoredto its original state through the powers of James’ Paths.
“Interesting.” A faint smile played across Wynona’s lips.
