“Today’s James’ wedding ceremony. How dare someone show up with armed warriors? Does he havea death wish?

Everyone inside the hall stared at the group of uninvited guests.

Under countless gazes, the middle-aged man walked into the hall. As he stepped forward, hisoppressive aura knocked away the powerhouses inside the hall.

Only James and Thea stood firmly in place.

James stepped forward and said coldly, “Who are you?

Today’s our wedding ceremony. If you’re here to attend the ceremony, I warmly welcome you. However,if you’re here to cause trouble, I advise you to turn away immediately. I don’t want to stain my handswith blood on such a joyous occasion.

“Hehe” The middle-aged man chuckled.

He turned to Thea and said, “I’ve come to escort you home, Thea.”novelbin

Thea frowned and said furiously, “Didn’t I already promise to return home after the wedding ceremony?Why are you causing trouble in the Human Race’s Heavenly Court?”

The black-robed man said coldly, “I’m afraid the wedding ceremony can’t go on.”

Then, he immediately ordered his armed warriors, “Escort Ms. Thea home.”

With his command, the warriors rushed into the hall.

“How dare you cause such a scene in the Heavenly Court?”

Furious, James unleashed a terrifying aura from his body.

Jacopo, Winnie, Xainte, Noel, and some other powerhouses quickly rushed before James. All of themquickly released their powerful auras.

“Our mission is to bring Ms. Thea back home. I’ve no intention of killing anyone.”

The black-robed man’s face darkened. He raised his hand, and mysterious inscriptions emerged toform a powerful force.

The force swept forward and blasted the powerhouses in front of James.

Even James was knocked a few meters backward.

The middle-aged man quickly approached Thea, sealed her cultivation base, and disappeared with her.

The series of events happened in the blink of an eye.

Before the powerhouses inside the hall could even react, Thea had already been kidnapped by thegroup of warriors.

After realizing the situation, Jacopo and the others wanted to chase after the group of warriors.However, they had already disappeared without a trace. They were unable to even detect their auras.Not even James could.

‘What’s going on, Dad?” Noel asked puzzledly. He was unsure of what had just happened and why amysterious group of powerhouses came to kidnap his mother.

James shook his head. He too, was confused by the whole situation.

However, he could tell from what had happened that Thea must have some kind of extraordinarybackground, and they wanted her home.

James was not familiar with Thea’s background. He simply knew she was the Human Race’s matron,but there was a period she was known as Zaire. While living as Zaire, she was infamous for being awicked cultivator that took countless innocent lives.

When James entered the Path of Heavenly Awakening, he was sent to the era where Thea lived asZaire. He was punished in her stead and saved her from going down the wrong path. After that, Theaturned over a new leaf and became the Human Race’s matron.

‘What exactly is her background?” James frowned and murmured, “It seems there’s more to theGreater Realms than I thought.”

“What do we do about the wedding ceremony, Dad? Mom was kidnapped. Is she in some kind ofdanger?” Xainte

asked worriedly.

James replied, “She’ll be fine. Cancel the wedding ceremony. We’ll have to reschedule it.”

With a troubled expression, James thought to himself, ‘Good thingstake time.’
