James glanced at her butdid not say much. He walked away from Mount Doom, leaving his initial spot with a single step. Hereappeared at the main peak in the next moment.

Yemima sensed that something was amiss, but she could not put her finger on what it was. Sensingthat James had gone to the main peak, she wanted to know what he was up to, so she followed himthere.

Sir Youri, the major clans have not taken any action. Only some minor clans carried out our orders, butthey’re merely killing weak humans with low cultivation ranks. The Human Race’s real powerhouseshave already gone into hiding, and their whereabouts are unknown.”

James smiled lightly and said, “Is that so? I’m guessing you want to use this opportunity to strike a dealwith him and force him to hand over the Blithe Omniscience, am I right?”
Youri glanced at him and calmly stated, “I want both the Blithe Omniscience and James’ death alongwith it.”
“Sir Youri, I have a plan,” proposed James.
“Go on,” Youri urged.
James explained, “Let’s divide our forces. You can stay behind to protect the Doom Race and wait forJames to show himself. I shall head to the Cloud Race to find Soren and inform him about the situation.This will force him to hand over the Blithe Omniscience to you.”
James continued, “Soren is as strong as the Grand Patriarch of the Human Race. Though he may notcare about life or death, he wouldn’t stand idly by as the Human Race faces extinction. If he hands overthe Blithe Omniscience, we can unite with powerhouses from other races and eliminate him.”
James revealed his strategy, and Youri listened as he nodded in approval, “This plan seems feasible.”
Upon hearing this, James vowed, “Sir Youri, rest assured. I will definitely help you in seizing the BlitheOmniscience from Soren. The very day I possess the Blithe Omniscience will also be the day Sorenmeets his end.”
“However…” James’ tone shifted as he continued, “Soren may not believe me if I approach him empty-handed. I humbly request you to pass me the tokens, so I can carry them with me.”
Youri fell into contemplation. After some consideration, he waved his hand, and nine tokens floated infront of him. These tokens drifted towards James.
Upon receiving the tokens, James declared with determination, “I promise I won’t let you down.”
