Chapter 4375

Chapter 4375

James’ aura weakened instantly.

He descended from the sky and landed on the ground.

When he landed, a few guards rushed over to him and held their swords at his neck.

Hirah ordered, “Release Zaire and this kid up.”

Although James successfully rescued Zaire, he was bounded to the pillar in her place.

Thea had suffered severe injuries and got up from the ground with incredible difficulty. She looked atJames, who was bounded, and said coldly, “You must be eager to die. Do you think I’ll be grateful justbecause you saved me? You’re so naive.”

She did not appreciate James’ actions.

Under the gazes of the Doom Race’s powerhouses, she dragged her body and disappeared fromMount Chaos.

She arrived outside of Mount Chaos. Her initial plan was to leave the Dooms’ territory and heal herinjuries as soon as possible. However, she did not immediately retreat in the end.

Thea stood outside Mount Chaos and silently looked at James, tied to the pillar in the distant sky.

Despite being bounded, James showed no fear.

James asked, “What’s the punishment?”

Hirah replied, “You’re being punished on Zaire’s behalf. Her crimes are heinous, and she was to bepunished with ninety- nine thousand eight hundred strikes of Chaos Lightning. If you can withstandthem, we’ll release you, and her crimes will be written off.”

James responded, “Alright, let’s get on with it.”

Thea watched from a distance and said disdainfully, “Who do you think you are to withstand ninety-ninethousand eight hundred strikes of Chaos Lightning? Do you think you’re Soren? Or do you think youhave a formidable body? Do you think you’ll survive the Chaos Lightnings?”

James’ arrogant attitude disgusted Thea.

Boom!

A streak of lightning fell from the sky.

Despite having a bad impression of James, Thea could not help but feel anxious when she saw theChaos Lightning. She took a few steps forward, and she bit her lips worriedly.

The lightning scorched James’ flesh.

He was at the Omnsicince Path’s Eighth Stage and had physical strength equivalent to a powerhouseat the middle stage of the Terra Acme Rank. Even if a powerful Terra Acmean were to attack with fullstrength, he would be able to walk away unscathed.

However, the Chaos Lightning injured him instantly. His flesh was split open, and blood dripped downhis body.

Thea had killed many creatures and attracted a lot of Karma to herself.

When the Chaos Lightning struck James, Thea felt the Karma she was contaminated with from hermass massacres was slightly weakened.

Boom!

The second streak of lightning struck James and exploded around him.

James felt the Chaos Lightning’s power permeating his body, causing his Blood Energy to churn.Unable to suppress it, he spat out a mouthful of blood.

The Chaos Lightning struck him one after another.

After several lightning strikes, James’ whole body was covered in wounds.

His aura was weak, and he was at his limit. He would die if he were to be struck a few more times.

The countless powerhouses quietly watched James, who was being punished in Thea’s stead.

Nobody expected James to be able to survive the Chaos Lightning.

James had already withstood tens of thousands of lightning strikes. After enduring them, the KarmaPower Thea had attracted to herself had decreased significantly. Her cold heart slowly warmed up, andshe could not help but feelnovelbin

worried for James.

“Dumbass.” Seeing James endure the punishments for her, Thea could not hold back her tears.
