Chapter 4326

James was never one who would choose to kill unnecessarily.

At first, he felt quite burdened when he learned that he had to kill off all living beings in this universe topass the trial.

It was only after he had confirmed he did not gain any bad karma that he felt a slight sense of relief.

Still, there was a grim look in his eyes. He knew that the killing he had just executed was only a minorpart of what he had to accomplish in the first trial.

‘The biggest concern for me now is the Yaneiri King, a talented and renowned cultivator whose namewould strike fear in any normal living being.

‘If it weren’t for the sudden and mysterious disappearance, the Yaneiri King would have undoubtedlyreached the

Caelum Acme Rank and become the first person to do that post the Sky Burial Age,’ James concludedinwardly.

“A man who’s achieved the Boundless for both Quasi and Permanence Acme Rank. Then, he evenwent on to reach the Terra Acme Rank. He must be an outstanding cultivator.”

James tightened his grip on the sword handle.

Then, he activated the Divine Sense. Soon enough, he found a place where he could detect anincredibly powerful aura.

James knew instinctively that the aura belonged to the

Yaneiri King. He turned his gaze to the faraway horizon.

Then, he started teleporting toward the direction where he had felt the aura earlier.

‘I’m curious to find out what the Yaneiri King is capable of.

‘If I fail to kill him this time, I’ll have to quickly train and try to achieve higher cultivation ranks. I need todefeat the man in thirty thousand years.’ James thought.

At the same time, a young man who seemed to be in his mid -twenties was sitting inside a huge halllocated at Mount Yaneiri.

The man was quietly reading an old, yellowed book. He seemed immensely intrigued by the contents ofthe book as he would occasionally pause and frown whenever he found something unexpected.

“Brother.”

A beautiful lady in a white dress walked in through the door just then.

The lady had a tall and voluptuous figure. Her smooth, black hair reached her lower back. The ladyemanated an aura of grace and elegance.

The man placed the book on a nearby table as he got to his feet. His face broke into a smile as he metthe lady’s gaze.” Zella, you’re here.”

‘You were reading that book again?”

Zella Yanes moved her gaze away from the old book. She had a small frown on her forehead. “Brother,if you keep

doing this, the people of the Yaneiri Empire will meet their fateful end soon.”

The Yaneiri King’s expression hardened instantly. After a brief pause, he looked at Zella and asked,“Did you sense something, Zella?”

Zella shook her head. “It was very vague, and I couldn’t make things out clearly. One thing I can tellwith certainty is that it is something ominous. Also, I’ve sensed that our world has been projected into arealm.”

“What? Our world has been projected into a realm?!” The Yaneiri King was confounded by her words.

“Mhm.” Zella gave a slight nod. “Have you heard of the Path of Heavenly Awakening before?”

‘Yes.”novelbin

Zella explained, ‘The Path of Heavenly Awakening is a realm that has existed even before the SkyBurial Age. In the distant future, a cultivator genius from the Human Race will enter the realm andexperience trials of the ultimate-level difficulty. Our world has been projected into the realm of the Pathof Heavenly Awakening. We are currently the materials that’ll help future generations of humanschange and improve.”

The Yaneiri King furrowed his brow. ‘Theoretically speaking, the realm would only project the pastversions of our world.

It shouldn’t cause any harm to us.”

“Things aren’t so simple this time,” Zella continued, “It is very likely that our world has been completelyprojected into

the realm. The creator of the Path of Heavenly Awakening must have somehow had the power ofconnecting the past and the future.”

The Yaneiri King looked at Zella, his younger sister.

He had never once doubted her words.
