Chapter 4269

A few elders from other factions did not choose between the two.

Youri glanced at them and ruthlessly stated, “Those who don’t side with me will be killed once I takecontrol of the Doom Race.”

Hearing this, the elders who wanted to stay out of the fight pursed their lips. They began to evaluateeach side’s chances of victory, contemplating who to follow. Making a wrong decision would lead totheir deaths.

Dolph, on the other hand, remained silent. He did not pressure anyone or try to influence them.

‘The Great Elder is at the Omniscience Path’s Ninth Stage. He’s basically invincible at this point.”

‘There’s a better chance of surviving if we follow him.”

The undecided elders began to discuss in secret. After a short discussion, they chose to side withYouri.

Youri’s side had an advantage in numbers.

At that moment, a loud voice came from a distant spiritual mountain.

“What the hell’s going on here?!”

A multicolored light shone from the spiritual mountain, and an old man could be seen sitting on it.

“Congratulations on leaving seclusion, Grand Patriarch.”

Everyone immediately greeted him respectfully. Even Youri and Dolph behaved courteously towardhim.

The old man sat among the multicolored lights.

The man was the Doom Race’s Grand Patriarch, Hirah. However, it was not the real Hirah but Youri’ssubordinate, Lada in disguise. Lada was Youri’s servant. Ever since Hirah was injured in the battle inthe Primordial Realm, she had cared for him.

She understood everything about Hirah, especially his aura. Now that she was impersonating him, noone could see through her disguise, not even Dolph.

Hirah’s body flickered and he appeared on Mount Chaos instantly.

He stood between the two factions.

“Grand Patriarch.”

Youri clasped his hands, and said, “Everything I did wasn’t to create conflict within the clan. I’m doing itfor our own good, and to ensure the Doom Race’s prosperity for generations to come.”

Hirah looked at him and stroked his white beard. Then, he said, “I’m not faulting you for your actions,Youri. I can tell you’re thinking of our race’s prosperity.”

Then, Hirah turned to Dolph and asked, “When I passed on

my position to you, what did I tell you?”

Dolph replied, “I must guide the Doom Race to rise above the others and become the greatest race inthe Greater Realms. Also, that the Doom Race should conquer the Greater Realm, and have everyonesubmit to us.”

Hirah asked, “Did you fulfill your duty?”

“No.” Dolph lowered his head.

Hirah sighed and said, “We’re from the same race, so there’s no need for petty battles. Dolph, you’re agood patriarch. With your leadership, the Doom Race has revived and prospered. However, you’renothing close to an outstanding patriarch. You have no ambitions and are no longer suitable to lead theDoom Race.”

Dolph replied, “I understand and agree that I should step down. My son, Wyot, has accomplished manythings recently. He single handedly killed a Terra Acmean in the Ancient Realm. Even though hiscultivation rank is still lacking, he has great potential and is worthy of succeeding me as the DoomRace’s new patriarch.”

James also could not recognize that this Hirah was a fake.

Seeing Youri behave so respectfully toward the Grand Patriarch, James thought everything was goingaccording to plan.

He immediately stepped forward and said, “I’ll definitely make the Doom Race superior to the rest andwe’ll subjugate the other races.”novelbin
