Chapter 4051

Chapter 4051

Hutchin could also sensethat Bruce had forcibly increased his cultivation rank and strength. He laughedmockingly and said, “Did you think you’d be able to save them from the Hopeless City with yourunreliable Quasi Acme Rank?”

Bruce raised his big knife, and the blade gleamed brightly.

‘Til do whatever it takes. I’ll flood the streets with blood if you don’t release them. Even if you take medown, I’ll drag as many of you as I can with me. I know the Hopeless City has many powerhouses, but Iwon’t let you kill me that easily. I’ll have enough time to kill at least a few of your people.”

Bruce slowly approached them, step by step, as his body exuded an intense pressure. As he passed, the ground beneath him cracked and the space surrounding him warped.

He roared, “Ahh!!!”

Bruce waved his big knife, flinging out Sword Light. His attack instantly killed a few of the guardssurrounding him. Although the guards were strong, they were no match for Bruce who was a QuasiAcmean.

Four beams of light shone down from the sky and appeared around Bruce, gradually taking the form offour people.

These four were the Hopeless City’s powerhouses. Three of them were Quasi Acmeans, and theremaining one was a peak Nine-Power Macrocosm Ancestral God.

They immediately enclosed Bruce.

James watched from afar and shook his head, saying, “He sure is brash. He’s taking on the HopelessCity on his own. Even if he were to exhaust the energy from his soul to temporarily enter the QuasiAcme Rank, he’s deluded to think he could rescue his kin on his own.”

Outside the city, a fierce battle broke out. The four powerhouses attacked Bruce in unison.

James knew that Bruce was fighting a losing battle.

Even if he managed to kill a few guards, he would ultimately be captured or killed.

James did not intend to save him since he would likewise be charging to his own death.

However, Bruce’s sudden arrival gave him an opportunity. It was chaotic outside the city, and manyguards rushed out to join the fight. Thus, he could take advantage of the chaos and sneak into theHopeless City.

Although the soul-detecting treasure was still outside the city gate, most guards had left their posts tojoin the fight, and no one was watching over it.

James hid his aura, went invisible, and quietly approached the city gate. At the same time, he alsoclosely observed the battle outside the city.

The battle was intense. Bruce fought against the four powerhouses and countless guards. Although hewas a Quasi Acmean, he could not overpower them and was injured briefly after the fight began.

James quietly unleashed a hidden beam of light toward the soul-detecting treasure, blasting it away. The moment the treasure was removed, James quickly snuck in.novelbin

The Soul Race’s thought nothing of the soul-detecting treasure being blown away and assumed theaftershock from the distant battle was the cause behind it.

After entering the city, James released his Divine Sense to survey the surroundings. Some importantplaces in the city also housed similar treasures that could detect human auras. It was evident that theSoul Race was frightened by the Heaven-Eradicating Sect. Even though they wielded such amazingpower, they were still afraid of humans.

After entering the city, James heaved a sigh of relief.

As long as he stayed away from the places guarded by souldetecting treasures, he would be fine. Hepracticed a special cultivation method, which prevented even those with a higher cultivation rank thanhim from detecting his soul aura.

The most important task was to find Dahlia’s inside men and understand the situation better. Only thencould he rescue Karglain and the others.

Outside the city, the battle continued to destroy their surroundings.

Bruce had come to the city resolved to die. He was determined to bring some Soul Race fighters downwith him.

Things like this were a common occurrence since the Primordial Realm Era.
