Chapter 3966

James was proficient in the various Paths of heaven and earth. Thus, he could deduce every Path’sMacrocosm Power and managed to integrate all his cultivation knowledge into the Chaos Path. However, he wanted to refrain from using his Chaos Path.

He would definitely win the fight if he used his Chaos Power. Even though Briscoe had nineMacrocosm Powers, James could still easily kill him.

“Here we go! They’re about to begin the fight!’’

“A fight between two Nine-Power Macrocosm Ancestral Gods! It’s the first one since the beginning oftime!”

“I can finally witness the true strength of Nine-Power Macrocosm Ancestral Gods.”

After Briscoe and James unleashed their intense auras, the spectators watching from a distance wereimmediately excited.

Briscoe looked at James and shouted, “Where’s your weapon? You won’t stand a chance against meunarmed.”

“Ha!” James chuckled.

James immediately summoned the Demon-Slayer Sword. He held onto the weapon and scrutinized it.The sword was black and had mysterious inscriptions engraved on the blade.

The sword’s tip was slightly curved, and a black glow coated the blade.

James held the Demon-Slayer Sword and thought about Thea. He recalled the moment she gifted himthe sword.

Back when James was in the Primordial Age, he wanted to search for her after returning from theThirteenth Universe. Unfortunately, he died back then. After he was mysteriously resurrected, helearned that Thea had already been reincarnated.

‘Where exactly are you, Thea?’ James thought to himself.

While James was distracted by his thoughts, Briscoe seized the opportunity to attack.

Briscoe summoned a dazzling, golden sword and rushed toward James. He immediately appearedabove James and slashed at him. Thousands of Sword Lights burst out from the golden sword, each asstrong as Ninth-Rank Macrocosm Power and were capable of killing an early-stage Nine- PowerMacrocosm Ancestral God.

The Sword Lights flew through the Chaos, causing cracks throughout the void. The damage continuedto expand and eventually formed black holes.novelbin

A peak Nine-Power Macrocosm Ancestral God had power devastating enough to cause massdestruction with just a single attack.

The spectators in the distance were startled at the sight.

“Is this the true strength of a Nine-Power Macrocosm

Ancestral God?”

“He has such terrifying power. It makes me scared even though I’m watching from afar. If I were closeto the battlefield, the smallest amount of his Sword Energy would kill me instantly.”

The Macrocosm Ancestral Gods were shocked by Briscoe’s Nine-Rank Macrocosm Power.

The Omnipotent Lord was also spectating the battle. With Briscoe bringing all his strength to bear, eventhe Omnipotent Lord would struggle to withstand his attacks.

In the past, James gave a lecture on Mount Bane and helped improve other cultivators’ strengths. TheOmnipotent Lord was curious to see how strong he himself was.

Although he lost to James on the Chessboard of Heaven and Earth, he never had a real duel withJames and was unsure of James’ true strength.

Therefore, he looked forward to uncovering James’ strength through this battle.

Briscoe fought viciously and unleashed thousands of terrifying Sword Lights. His Sword Lights formeda net and rained down on James.

James’ physical strength alone was capable of resisting the damage of the Sword Lights. However, hewanted to put on an act. He planned to hide his real strength and find a way to get closer to theOmnipotent Lord to learn more about the Watchers.

James raised the Demon-Slayer Sword and unleashed Sword Intent. His Sword Intent spread out likeripples and destroyed the Sword Lights closing in on him.

‘You’ve got some skill.”

Briscoe shouted at him, then launched another attack.
