Chapter 3943

Sienna and Xerxes were well aware of the Dark World’s rules and knew that they had to offer tributesto the Nine Heavens to secure their reign over the Malevolent Land. Thus, they sent many treasuresand resources to the Nine Heavens to sustain the Malevolent Land’s stability. Unfortunately, severalforces in the Nine Heavens refused to grant them the peace they desired.

Sienna sat in the highest seat in the main hall of Mount Malevolent Moon, wearing a black dress. Herface was solemn. Meanwhile, Xerxes stood beside her like a bodyguard.

“It’s best to surrender, Lord Sienna.”

“I agree. Thaine Machula is too powerful. He’s a Ninth Stage Lord, with many followers in the samestage. Moreover, he also has a considerable amount of Lords at his command. How would we resisthim?”

“I suggest we give in to their demands. There’s no shame in surrendering in the Dark World. If wesubmit to Thaine, we’ll be inducted into his forces and it’ll benefit our development in the Dark World.”

The Lords in the hall began expressing their opinion and the majority of them tried to persuade Siennato surrender.

Sienna’s lips drew tight at their remarks. She and Xerxes had gone through many hurdles to conquerthe Malevolent Land. How could they relinquish it to another so easily?

Sienna looked at Xerxes beside her and asked. “What do you think, Xerxes? If you decide to fight, I’llprotect Mount Malevolent Moon and our territory with my life.

Xerxes also wore a grim expression. Thaine’s forces were far too strong, and Malevolent Land’sstrength was not enough to resist them. However, Thaine was a tyrant and Xerxes was reluctant tosurrender the territory to him.

He looked at Sienna and declared. “Thaine has crossed the line with his cruelty. He’s a despicableperson. I’d rather die in battle than surrender to him. If I have to die, I’ll go down protecting MountMalevolent Moon.”

“Alright. I understand your rationale.” Sienna nodded.

Sienna stood up, looked at the Lords in the hall, and said, ” This battle will determine Mount MalevolentMoon’s fate. Unfortunately, we have almost no chance of winning against our opponents. If anyonewishes to leave, I won’t fault you for it. Those that choose to stay, we shall defend this place to our lastbreath.”

Sienna’s voice resounded in the hall. Everyone in the hall exchanged glances with each other after herspeech. They would be charging into the deaths if they chose to oppose Thaine. Ultimately, theycherished their lives more.

“It’s not that I’m unwilling to go down with Mount Malevolent Moon. Thaine is just too powerful. I’msorry, Lord Sienna and Lord Xerxes.”

At that moment, a Fifth Stage Lord stepped forward and chose not to fight.

“Count me out as well.”

“Me too.”

After the first person gave in, many followed suit. In just a short moment, ninety percent of the Lords inthe hall chose to avoid battle. Only a few staunch followers of Sienna and Xerxes decided to staybehind.

Many Lords left Mount Malevolent Moon, leaving only a dozen Lords remaining in the hall.

“Good.”

Sienna looked at the remaining people and said, “It won’t be easy for them to take over MountMalevolent Moon. Even if we’re going to die, we must make Thaine suffer.”

Xerxes also stood up, and a powerful and spirited aura erupted from his body. Then, he summoned aChaotic Treasure.

“Everyone, hear my command! Attack!!!”

“Attack!!!”

Loud chants came from Mount Malevolent Moon, shattering the void above the area. The protectiveformation around Mount Malevolent Moon dispersed, and tens of thousands of soldiers from the DarkArmy charged forward to fight their enemies.

At that moment, a middle-aged man in black armor approached from the enemy’s army. He pointed hissword at Mount Malevolent Moon and shouted, “Sienna, Xerxes,

surrender to me, and I’ll promise not to hurt anyone!”novelbin

Thaine’s threat cut through the air.
