James’ face darkened as he said coldly, “We agreed to work together before coming here. Yet, hereyou are abandoning your teammates to their fate and taking the Light of Acme for yourself!”
“Stall for time, Forty-nine! I will meet up with you once I obtain the Light of Acme. When that happens,we will leave this place together and research the Light of Acme. Together, we will reach the AcmeRank.”
Knowing that James was difficult to deal with, Samsong kept things civilized.
Before James could respond, the beast turned around and spurted out a materialized beam.
