Helvius froze.
Then, he looked James in the eye, wondering why he would mention the Sanctuary at this moment.
He nodded slightly and said, “Yes, I have.”
James said, “The Sanctuary of Darkness is a mysterious organization that cultivates Curse Magic thathas existed since the Primeval Age. I have just received accurate information that they will be attackingthe Elixir Pavilion during the Elixir Gathering.”
Helvius had long known of this.
Based on how Jadranka Yevdokiya went to great lengths to approach the Old Master and injure himthrough his hands, he knew that the Sanctuary would be making a move soon. However, Helvius hadno idea how James learned about this.
He was lost in thought. To him, James was sent by the Sanctuary to investigate whether he hadregained his Path Seal. As he thought of this, he smiled and said, “Stop fooling around. Why would the

James shook his head slightly and said, “You’re overconfident, Master. The Sanctuary is not as simpleas you think they are. They are well-versed in Curse Magic, which is extremely unpredictable.”
Helvius dodged the question and asked, “How do you know that the Sanctuary is about to make amove on us? You’re only at the Divine Rank. With your strength, I don’t think you have the right toapproach them.”

James froze.
Helvius said, “About two thousand years ago, Official Jadranka manipulated me into injuring the OldMaster, who also inflicted damage on me.
