Chapter 2662

James had great admiration for the Ancestral Sword Master’s swordsmanship. After he obtained sucha splendid technique, he no longer had anyone to fear.

Having practiced such powerful swordsmanship, James had no fear, regardless of how challenging theEarth’s Third Calamity would be. James was confident he could guide the humans on Earth through thecalamity.

The flying battleship smoothly sailed over the ocean.

The rest of the journey went by without encountering any other fangers.

Another three months passed in the blink of an eye.

Suddenly, the battleship came to a stop.

James was cultivating in his room, trying to better comprehend the swordsmanship he had learned.

A knock came on his door.

He got up and opened it.novelbin

An old man stood outside his room. He wore a gray robe and had a white beard.

The old man looked at James respectfully and said, “Mr. Caden, we’ll reach the Seafolk’s domainsoon.”

“Mhm.” James nodded and walked out of the room.

The two of them walked onto the battleship’s deck together.

Four people met up on the deck.

The Blademaster of Mount Grinch pointed at the waters ahead and said, ” Keep going straight fromhere, and you’ll reach the Seafolk’s territory in about three days. The Seafolk stay on an island shieldedby a protective formation that prevents outsiders from entering.

“Back then, I passed through this place while I was being pursued by a monster. The Seafolk saved meand took me into their territory.

“I won’t accompany you for the rest of the journey. The three of you will have to go alone. I’ll wait foryou guys here.”

The Blademaster of Mount Grinch had promised the Seafolk never to reveal their location.

Thus, he did not intend to go further and would await the party’s return on the battleship.

James nodded and said, “Alright. You can wait here for us while we visit the Seafolk.”

The Blademaster of Mount Grinch nodded and said, “Understood. I’ll wait on the ship for you guys.”

He reminded them, “Also, just a warning. The Seafolk are formidable and practice extraordinaryswordsmanship. Learning their basic swordmanship was enough to allow me to overpower everyoneon Galileo. Keep that in mind and be sure not to act recklessly while in their territory.”

James replied, “Got it. Thanks for the reminder.”

He looked ahead of him, then turned to Yanina and Walganus, saying,” Let’s go.”

“Alright.” The two nodded.

The three of them left the battleship and flew into the distance.

According to the Blademaster of Mount Grinch, they would reach the Seafolks’ territory after travelingfor three days.

The trio flew at full speed.

Three days soon passed and they eventually reached the island.

The island was enormous. At a glance, there was no end in sight. A mysterious golden halo withmysterious scripts surrounded the island’s periphery.

‘There’s a powerful force enveloping the area.”

After getting close to the island, Walganus immediately sensed an unusual force. After mulling it over,he said, “If I’m not mistaken, a very extraordinary divine object is about to appear in the Seafolk’sterritory.”

“What?”

James and Yanina turned to him abruptly.

Walganus shook his head and said, “I can’t identify what it is, but I can feel a different energy aftergetting close to the island. Although I can’t really be sure what it is exactly, I’m positive it must be quiteremarkable.”

James said, “It’s best to put away such thoughts. We came to find the Crepe Myrtle

Divine Sword, not to plunder the Seafolk’s resources.”

Walganus smiled faintly and said, ‘This world is one where the strong prey on the weak. If the Seafolkaren’t strong, we’ll grab the boon that appears. If the Seafolk display amazing strength, then we won’tact against them.”
