James replied, “The relevant authorities have begun investigating the matter. It’s too late to withdrawthe case now. Besides, if they’re proven to be innocent, they’ll be released in no time. As the gifts were numerous, they took some time carrying them home. At the Callahans’ villa, Johnasked, “What should we do now, father? Eternality is expanding its business, while Howard’s beenarrested. Meanwhile, Thea has taken over Pacific Group. We desperately need someone to take thelead.”
“John, I’ll leave the company’s business to you for now.”
