Chapter 2145

Chapter 2145

The Dark Keep was the most mysterious organization in the Land of Tabal and had been establishedmany years ago.

The current master of the Dark Keep was also one of the strongest people in the Land of Tabal.

His name was Miguel Hadecus, and he was Saturio’s elder brother.

To him, James had to die for killing his younger brother.

He was unwilling to speak needlessly with someone he was about to kill. All he wanted was to acquirethe Targwyn family’s family treasure which was now in James’ hands. With a grim expression, Miguelstretched out his hand and said coldly, “Hand me the jade pendant, and I’ll be sure to leave your corpsein one piece.”

Miguel’s attitude was arrogant and overbearing.

James looked at the jade pendant in his hand. With a single thought from James, it disappeared andwas transported into the Celestial Abode.

“If you want it, you’ll need to have the ability to take it from me.

James smiled faintly.

Then, he turned to Laelia behind him and whispered, “You should find a chance to leave when you canand wait for me outside the city. After I finish off these two, I’ll come to find you.”

Laelia would only become a burden to James if she stayed.

After nodding gently, Laelia turned around and left.

However, many guards appeared outside the main hall before she could leave. Holding up theirswords, they blocked Laelia’s path, forcing her to return to the hall.

Cloyd chuckled. “Do you think you

James frowned.

"could leave after coming here?”

He would have nothing to worry about if he was fighting alone. Even if he could not beat them, escaping would not be a problem.

However, the situation was different with Laelia present.

Laelia returned to James’ side. James took her hand and whispered, “Don’t resist. Just trust me.”

She nodded despite not knowing what James was about to do.

Suddenly, she sensed a powerful force coming from James’ hand. It wrapped around her and drew herbody towards it.

As James instructed, Laelia did not resist the force.

Immediately afterward, she disappeared from the hall.

In the next moment, she found herself inside the Celestial Abode.

After transporting Laelia into the Celestial Abode, James looked at Cloyd and Miguel with a brightsmile.

The two of them were rooted where they stood with shock.

“Where did she go?”

‘What’s going on?’novelbin

‘How did a live person suddenly disappear?’

Both of them were puzzled.

However, that was no longer important since the Targwyn family’s heirloom was not with Laelia but withJames. As long as James was still around, then they could obtain it.

“Hand it over.”

Miguel reached his hand out to James.

Cloyd also advised. “Don’t be arrogant, young man. You might have killed Saturio, who reachedImmortal Ascension, but the Dark Keep’s Master and I are already at the Immortal Ascension’s ThirdStair. If you have any sense, hurry and hand over the jade pendant.”

“Come and get it if you can.”

James smiled.

An opponent on the Immortal Ascension’s Third Stair was nothing to him.

Once he activated the Sacrilegious Ascension, he could easily kill people on the Immortal Ascension’sThird Stair.

The two people before him were no match for him.

“You must have a death wish.”

Miguel snorted, and his expression darkened. A powerful force formed from his wide sleeves, and theforce swept toward James with the sound of a veritable gust.

James knew he was not a match for these two if he did not use the Sacrilegious Ascension.

He dodged quickly and appeared outside the main hall in a flash. Then, he leaped into the air andpromptly fled from Liberty City.

His intention was not to escape, but to head towards a deserted area.

The city was crowded, and many people would be affected if a fight broke out. He was unwilling toallow innocents to die because of him.

He quickly fled while Miguel and Cloyd were hot on his tail.

The two moved rapidly and caught up with James in no time.
