Upon noticing the commotion, the man stopped and turned his head.
“Master,” a woman behind him said, “based on my intelligence, that man is James Caden, a renownedfigure on Earth. He’s rumored to be the second-best fighter. Meanwhile, his wife is the strongest fighteron Earth.”
The man nodded slightly and said, “Although the earthlings are sinners, my master told me to make myacquaintance with them before I head here. Hazel, go test his strength. I’m curious. to see if he’sworthy of my attention.”
“Understood.” The woman who was wearing a colorful dress nodded.
Then, she stepped forward and blocked James’ path.
James stopped and looked at the woman blocking his way, furrowing his eyebrows and asking, “Can Ihelp you?”
Hazel Lorelei smiled and said, “Your reputation precedes you, James Caden. Indeed, you’re ascharismatic as the rumors say.”
“You flatter me.” James smiled.
However, the moment he lowered his guard, Hazel struck ferociously. In the blink of an eye, sheappeared before James and struck with her palm.
Her speed was extraordinary, so James could not react in time. He only saw a figure flash before himbefore he was sent flying.
