“Mr. Quinn, are you saying the Cadens is one of them too?”

Newton nodded.
“Although the Four Great Families have much of the world’s wealth in their possession, few knew oftheir existence. Thirty years ago, infighting broke out within the Cadens. Your grandfather, Thomas, leftthe Cadens and migrated to Cansington with his family.”
James could not help but ask, “Then, what does the Moonlit Flowers on Cliffside’s Edge have to dowith the destruction of the Cadens?”
Newton replied, “This I do not know. I’m only a butler and a mere servant. I only know that the MoonlitFlowers on Cliffside’s Edge was brought here by your grandfather from the Cadens and that someonepowerful was interested in it. Thomas once told me that the Four Great Families are scattered acrossthe world. The current Emperor, who’s one of the five commanders, is also in one of the Four GreatFamilies. Newton shook his head. “James, I don’t know. I can only tell you this. The Emperor is also from one ofthe Four Great Families. As for which family, I don’t know. The destruction of the Cadens could be aninside job, or it could be one planned by the other three of the Four Great Families.”

James was disappointed.
He thought Newton had plenty of insider information.
He never thought he would only be knowledgeable about the history of the Cadens.
