He had long wanted to wring James’ neck.

Now that James had shown up and was acting insolently in Hazted City, he had to take action as theDeputy City Lord.
He gave an order, and his subordinate, Leandro, stepped forward.
The three female college students stood behind James with fearful expressions.
James stared at Leandro who was approaching him. Two years ago, Leandro had severely injured himon Mount Bane. This led James to have bad impressions of the Outsiders.
“What? Aren’t you going to fight me?”
He stared at Leandro calmly and showed no fear.
Leandro came over and stood in front of James. With a look of contempt, he said, “You’re rathertalented, James. If you kneel today and apologize to my master, he’ll ask the City Lord to pardon you.After that, you’ll only be behind bars for a decade or so at most. If you refuse then… Hazted City will beyour grave today.”
The Son of Heaven raised his head and puffed his chest to express his approval of Leandro’s words.As long as James kneeled, he could indeed exonerate James.
“Ha!” James sneered.
“How can you still laugh when your death is all but assured?”
Leandro’s face darkened, and he attacked. His body flashed in front of James, and he raised his hand.He wanted to lift James up from the ground and toss his back down.
James raised his hand before Leandro could even touch him, blocking his attack.
He squeezed Leandro’s wrist.
Leandro’s expression warped instantly. He used all his strength to try and break away. However, Jameswas too strong and would not release his vise-like grip.
James thrust his other palm forward.
Powerful Palm Energy struck Leandro’s chest.
Leandro wanted to block the attack, but it was already too late. The attack hit him in the chest and hewas sent flying into the distance. After only after being blasted away tens of meters did he finally breakfree from James’ powerful force.
At that moment, his face was pale, and blood trickled from his lips.

Although James was considerably strong two years ago and could injure him with his
signature martial art skill, James was still merely an ant to him. One that could be killed with a singlehand if he chose to.

Even so, Leandro had been injured by James.
“You must have a death wish!”
Leandro was furious.
Terrifying energy erupted from his body as he rushed toward James in a rage.
“Stop it.”
The Son of Heaven reprimanded him. “You’re in Hazted City. Are you trying to destroy this place?”
Hearing this, Leandro withdrew his energy.
He stood behind the Son of Heaven and shot daggers at James.
The Son of Heaven looked at James with a faint smile and said, “James, right? You’ve caused acommotion Hazted City. I’ll give you three days to appear at the City Lord’s Mansion to plead guilty toyour crime.”
After speaking, he turned and left.
The Son of Heaven had disappeared, but his voice rang in James’ ears.
“After three days, for every day you don’t admit your guilt at the City Lord’s Mansion, I’ll eradicate a cityon earth.”
When these words left his lips, everyone stood aghast.
