Chapter 2001

Chapter 2001

Yandel chose to concede defeat and prayed that James would spare his life.

James, on the other hand, simply glared at him.

Deep in contemplation, he wondered if he should use this opportunity to strike fear in the OverworldOutsiders’ hearts by annihilating Yandel.

However, he was also concerned that this would have the opposite effect and instead incur theOverworld’s wrath. In such a scenario, the earthlings would be their target of reprisal. Although he wasunafraid of the Overworld, the same could not be said about the earthlings.

Besides, after the fierce battle, he began to understand more about his body. His body was imbuedwith powerful Demonic Energy, but the energy would be depleted every time he suffered an injury. Atthe moment, he no longer had much Demonic Energy inside his body. Indeed, he could feel hisrecovery speed gradually slowing down.

It made James realize that he was not invincible. There was a limit to his recovery. Once his DemonicEnergy was depleted, his body would stop rejuvenating by itself.

“Stop right there, James.” Leandro walked toward James and looked at him, saying, “End the fight nowand tell us more about your conditions. As long as it’s within our power, we’ll accept your demands.”

Leandro stepped forward and announced a truce, while the others simply remained silent. James haddemonstrated incredible strength. Since he was recognized by the Overworld Outsiders, he now hadthe right to be on equal footing with them..

James took a deep breath to forcibly suppress his killing intent. His aura subsided, and the DemonicEnergy dispersed.

Seeing this, Yandel breathed a sigh of relief. Just a moment ago, he could clearly sense his lifehanging by a thread. He would have died if James chose so. After all, no one could stop him.

James glared at Leandro and the others and asked coldly, “So have I earned the right to negotiate withyou?”

Leandro laughed and said, “Since antiquity, the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what theymust. To earn the right to negotiate with us, you need to demonstrate sufficient strength. My friend, youcertainly are an equal among us.”

Xain stepped forward and said with a smile, “That was a nice sparring match.”

He was somewhat disappointed that they failed to kill James. However, he had no choice but to putthose plans aside for now. Besides, James was already a dead man to him. Once the seal wasundone, James would perish alongside the earthlings.

Leandro said smilingly, “Let’s talk elsewhere.”

Then, he turned to leave, while the others followed suit.

James followed close behind.

Yandel breathed a sigh of relief. Only after the battle truly ended did he collapse to the ground.

Soon, a few cultivators came rushing over.novelbin

“Q-Quick, heal my injuries.”

Supported by many disciples, Yandel hurriedly left.

Many gathered outside the main hall of the Sacerdotal Sect on Mount Bane. James’ powerful strengthhad earned him the right to enter negotiations with his opponents.

Leandro looked at James and asked, “You may list your terms anytime. We’ll accept your demands aslong as they are reasonable.”

As he looked at James who was completely unscathed, he smiled faintly at him. However, hisexpression was dark.

James stood up and scanned the crowd, saying, “From today onward, all living beings from theOverworld are forbidden from making life difficult for the earthlings. Those who violate the rule will beannihilated without mercy.”
