James had been waiting to hear from Henry.

Right now, James could only wait. He had to wait until he saw Maxine.
After eight o'clock in the morning, Maxine called.
"Go to Cynthia's house."
After saying that, she hung up. James, on the other hand, immediately went out and hurried over toCynthia's residence in Cansington.
Cynthia has spent most of the last few years in Cansington. She did not move around either.

Tiara walked over and sat down on the sofa. She pulled out her phone and said, “Take a look.”
Cynthia glanced at the phone. When she realized it was a message from Maxine, she furrowed herbrows unconsciously and said, "Isn't Maxine the Master of Floret Palace and the Chancellor ofTacriyrus right now? Why is she in Cansington, and why is she coming to our house?"
For the past few years, Tiara had been living at Cynthia's house. They spent all these years togetherand became the best of friends who would confide in one another about anything.
Back then, James gifted Tiara the Dragon Essence. She took the Dragon Essence as well. However, itwas only a few years ago that she was first exposed to cultivation. Dragon Essense alone was notenough for her to become a top martial artist.
Her current rank was only at the peak of the seventh rank.
Tiara shook her head and said, ‘That I don't know. I just got Maxine's message out of the blue. Shesaid she'll be here soon."
"Alright." Cynthia nodded and said, "We haven't seen each other in years. I wonder how she's doing, aswell as James and
Thea. There's news about James, though. I was looking at the Martial Arts Forum a few days ago andlearned that James showed up at the Heaven and Earth Sect."
The two of them conversed softly. They talked about some of the things that happened several yearsago.
At this moment, the doorbell rang.
Cynthia promptly pressed the remote control and the door opened.
Maxine walked in wearing a gorgeous dress. She was holding a black sword in her hand. As soon asshe entered the house, she said with a smile, “Tiara, Cynthia. It's been years since I've seen you.”novelbin
Both of them stood up as well.
"Maxine." Tiara's face was beaming with joy. She said, "You're really here. I thought you were joking.”
“Little girl, I haven't seen you in a few years. You've matured, haven't you?”
Maxine glanced at Tiara and could not help but chuckle.
Tiara looked slightly bashful. She experienced yet another growth spurt because she absorbed thepower of the Dragon Essence.
"By the way, James will be here later,” said Maxine.
When she heard that, Tiara was stunned.
‘James will be here?’
This man had been buried in her heart for years.
Cynthia, on the other hand, looked delighted. She asked, "Really? Is James really coming here? I'veheard that a year ago, Thea gave birth to a girl and that the child is at the Callahans' villa right now. I
wanted to visit the Callahans to take a look, but I couldn't find the time."
"Mhm. He'll be here."
Maxine had a smile on her face.
She sat down on the sofa and crossed her legs. With a carefree expression, she said, "He had initiallyreturned to the Southern Plains, but I took his child and forced him to come to Cansington.”
She was talking about it casually.
Cynthia and Tiara, however, were horrified as they listened to her.
