Maxine stated her name.
As the guards of the Callahan family, it was impossible for them not to know about Floret Palace'sMaxine. She was not only the Master of Floret Palace but also Tacriyrus' Chancellor. She was also verypowerful in her own right.
Aside from that, all the guards of the Callahan family were aware that Maxine was once a Caden familymember and was quite close to James.

The guard did not stop her and motioned for her to proceed, allowing Maxine into the Callahans'’ villa.
It was nighttime. Almost everyone in the Callahan family was awake. When Maxine appeared in theCallahans' villa, the family members all stood up.
As members of the Callahan family, how could they possibly not recognize Maxine?
"If it isn’t Maxine, the Master of Floret Palace. What brought you to the Callahan’s villa?” asked Lex.
"Master, take a seat.” Others were inviting Maxine to sit.
Maxine sat down. She looked at Lex, who was the head of the family, then at Winnie, who was drinkingmilk.
“Here's the thing. James is still concerned about Winnie staying at the Callahans' villa. He specificallyrequested that I come and take Winnie away."
"Really?" Lex looked doubtful.
Even the rest of the Callahans were puzzled.
James just left yesterday. He did not say anything as he was leaving. Why would he ask Maxine tocome and take Winnie away now?
"Maxine, did James really ask you to come?” Gladys looked unconvinced.
‘We could find out if it's true with a simple phone call, couldn’t we?" said David.
“Right.” Lex immediately took out his phone and called James.
James was at Mt. Thunder Pass, sitting on the ground in a lotus position while cultivating. Right then,his phone started to ring.
He paused his cultivation, pulled out his phone, and took a glance. When he noticed the call was fromLex in Cansington, he promptly accepted the call and asked, "Grandfather, what's the matter? Didsomething happen?"
Lex said, "Maxine showed up at the Callahan's villa, claiming that you asked her to pick up Winnie, soI'm calling to ask you about that.”
As Lex made the call, Maxine sat on the sofa and watched in silence.
James, on the other hand, stood up abruptly and exclaimed after he heard those words, "What?”
He breathed in deeply, forcing himself to calm down. "Grandfather, I never told Maxine to pick upWinnie. Don’t give her to Maxine."
In Cansington, at the Callahans'’ villa, Maxine snatched the phone from Lex's grasp with a casual waveof her hand. Holding the phone, she said,” James, it's been a while.”
James roared, "Maxine, what are you trying to do?"
With a faint smile, Maxine said, "Nothing, really. The world hasn't been all that peaceful lately. I’mworried about Winnie, so I specifically came to Cansington to take her away and protect her."
"You... If you dare to hurt Winnie, I'll never forgive you," James yelled angrily.novelbin
Over a year ago, he was already aware that Maxine had changed.
