Lucjan charged out with the Blade of Justice in hand. However, Thomas, disguised as Ezekiel, and theFirst Blood Emperor opted to flee. Seeing that the two were nowhere to be seen, Lucjan too chose tomake his escape. After all, he stood no chance against James alone.
By the exit of the mountain at Divine Sword Villa…
Ezekiel and the First Blood Emperor walked out.
“Are we abandoning Lucjan just like that?” The First Blood Emperor turned and looked at the cavernbehind them.
Ezekiel said, “What other choice do we have? I told him that our strengths combined were no match forJames’. Turning back will only get us killed.”
“What about Dragonslayer?”
Ezekiel said, “Have no fear. Dragonslayer will be created soon. We can simply return and snatch itaway from Divine Sword Villa.”
Upon hearing this, the First Blood Emperor was at ease.

At that moment, a sound could be heard from behind.
It was Lucjan.
Upon catching up with the both of them, Lucjan chided them, “What’s wrong with you? Why did you fleeat such a critical moment?”
Ezekiel said, “James is too powerful. We don’t stand a chance against him. Fighting against himprematurely will only get us killed. Well, at least we live to fight another day.”

Lucjan cursed.
“I will tear him to pieces! Let’s get going.”

Before they could leave, however, James had caught up. Upon seeing the trio, he yelled, “There’snowhere for you to run!”
He catalyzed True Energy and charged toward them, blocking their path.

Lucjan brandished his sword, and a powerful aura exuded from his body. Though he had planned toflee, he had no other choice now that James had caught up to them.
Meanwhile, Ezekiel looked at the First Blood Emperor, and the two nodded. Then, they went theirseparate ways and hurriedly made their escape.novelbin

Lucjan cursed.
He also wanted to flee. However, James’ gaze was fixed on him.
“Do you really think I’d be afraid of you?” Lucjan said coldly.
James glanced at the Blade of Justice before looking at Lucjan and said coldly, “Don’t say I didn’t giveyou a chance. Come at me.”
“Damn you!”
Lucjan’s face darkened, and he struck. His movement was as quick as lightning.
James dodged his attack with ease and struck him in the back. Lucjan staggered frontward and almostcollapsed to the ground.
James was now at the peak of the Fifth Stair and would soon cross over to the Sixth Stair. As such, hisspeed was much greater than Lucjan’s, who was no longer a threat to him.
“That’s all you’ve got?”
James said nonchalantly.
“Darn it!”
After being struck, the Blood Energy inside Lucjan’s body churned.
Then, he turned and slashed with his sword. Immediately, materialized Sword Energy burst forth, whichJames dodged with ease. Though Lucjan had used his full strength, he failed to injure James and wasinstead struck in the back by him.

He came crashing down from the sky and slammed against a tree, which instantly snapped in half.
