Chapter 1484

Chapter 1484

The Mount Thunder Sect was supporting him.

James did not want the Mount Thunder Sect to repeat the fate of the Gu Sect of a hundred years ago.

He wanted to purge the country and restore peace in Sol.

Although he did not think he was someone with strong integrity, things had already come to this point, and there was no way out for him.

All forces had their eyes on the courthouse that night.

“The latest news is that the Red Flame Army has surrounded the courthouse.

“Our men couldn’t enter the courthouse, and we couldn’t find out what was happening inside.

“We’re not sure how Graydon’s doing.”

All kinds of news spread to the various forces and families.

Everyone was paying attention to the courthouse’s situation.

However, none of them knew what was happening inside the courthouse.

After James killed Graydon, he left the courthouse. He sat on the steps outside the courthouse and lit acigarette.

Henry walked over and sat beside him.

Henry’s face darkened, and he asked, “James, you’ve gone too far this time. Graydon was a three-stargeneral. It would’ve taken a long time to convict him if you had followed the proper procedures. Yet,

you just killed him in the courthouse. Will something bad happen to us?”

James took a deep breath and said, “What bad things can happen to us? I possess the Blade ofJustice. ! have the authority to kill even without trial. I’d like to see who dares to step up and causetrouble after learning I killed Graydon.”novelbin

He was hoping someone would jump out to interfere.

It would give him an excuse to capture them all.

Upon hearing this, Henry fell into silence.

He understood that Sol would begin going through a reformation starting this night.

Sol would have great rulers if they were successful.

From then onward, no one would interfere with the country’s development.

However, failing their mission would lead to grave consequences.

Meanwhile, in a room in the courtyard house where Lance was located…

“Sir, the Red Flame Army has surrounded the courthouse and blocked all signals. We couldn’t getinformation about what’s happening inside the courthouse.”

Hearing the report, Lance’s expression darkened.

“This James…” He murmured and thought to himself.

Initially, he planned to use James to eliminate the Gu Sect.

Even if James could not destroy the Gu Sect, Lance hoped he would at least inflict heavy damage onthem.

Unfortunately, the situation was not looking optimistic with how things were progressing.

“What is James trying to do? Could he be trying to use his strength to dismantle Orient Commerce anddestroy the Gu Sect?” Lance murmured.

After pondering for a long time, he finally ordered, “Get Tobias to see me.”

“Understood.”

The subordinate left.

Soon, Tobias appeared.

Tobias looked much younger than before, and his skin was much smoother. He looked about sixty toseventy years old in the past but now had the appearance of a fifty-year-old man.

“Sir.”

Tobias arrived and greeted him respectfully.

Lance turned around and looked at Tobias.

Tobias asked, “Sir, do you have any orders?”

Lance ordered, “Lead the Phantom Army to the courthouse.”

“Understood. I’ll go kill James right now.” A hostile expression flashed across Tobias’ face.

Lance looked at Tobias and uttered softly, “Kill who? Who asked you to kill him?”

Tobias was taken aback. He recollected himself and asked, “Then, what would you like me to do?”

Lance instructed, “I want you to help James and advise him. I need you to convince him to target thepeople from the Gu Sect. If you can, stir up a conflict between him and the Gu Sect so they’d get into ahead-on battle.”

“Umm…”

Hearing this, Tobias’ expression became solemn.

Him attacking Bennett was definitely not a secret anymore.

Would James still trust him if he approached him right now?

“Sir, I’m afraid that might be a bit difficult. James might not trust me right now.”
