James said softly as he cast his gaze downward, “My condolences.”
“It’s alright.” Delilah forced a smile.
She went through a lot during this period and has now come to terms with it.
It was a blessing that she was still alive.
Thea noticed the strange atmosphere between them and promptly asked, “Honey, when will you makea move?”
James thought for a while and answered, “I should hurry up since things might start changing if Iprocrastinate. I’ll head to the military region to check on the situation first. All the words he had to say left Graydon’s mouth as he stood there slackjawed in terror.
