Newton nodded and said, “That’s right. I’ve followed Mr. Thomas all these years and only rushed backto Cansington because you showed up here. About the ordeal thirty years ago…”
Newton slightly hesitated.
He was unsure of whether he should tell James the truth.
James said, “When I was in the Capital, I bumped into Sir Lorenzo, my grandfather’s father. Both hislegs were amputated.
