Quincy quickly rolled out of bed and headed to turn on the lights.
The moment the lights turned on, her acupoints wear sealed, and she could not move.
Despite the lights being switched on, she could not see anyone.
“Finn, this woman isn’t bad.
“She’s James‘ first girlfriend and seems to be one of James‘ lovers. The two have a pretty goodrelationship.”
Quincy could not see anyone but heard a voice inside the room.
“Who are you, and what do you want?” she asked coldly.
However, no one answered her.
Her vision went black, and she was put into a sack.
The Three Wanderers had captured Quincy and were continuing on with their plan.
They kidnapped Quincy, Cynthia, Tiara, and Scarlett, who just came back after getting off work.
The three were fourth–ranked grandmasters, so they could easily kidnap the ladies.

After the trio kidnapped Quincy and the others, they quickly left the villa.
They headed to Newton’s accommodation.

James tried to move discreetly but accidentally woke Thea up.
“Honey, you’re awake?”
Thea retracted her hands and rubbed her eyes groggily.
James turned over and got up, saying, “It’s still early. You can sleep for a while more.”
“Okay.”
Thea was indeed still sleepy.
She turned around, closed her eyes, and continued sleeping. Within a minute or so, she fell backasleep.
James looked around the room.
Their clothes were all over the floor…
James smiled, picked up his clothes, and put them on.
Then, he went to the balcony and lit à cigarette.
After he finished smoking, he returned to the room.
Thea was sleeping like a log.
He looked at the Malevolent Sword on the table.
The sword was black and curved with a tip like a hook.
“Is this sword really wretched?” James murmured.
Immediately, he reached out and tried to pick up the Malevolent Sword.
The sword was hefty. James exerted some force but could not pick it up.
“It’s this heavy?”
James was slightly surprised.
Although he could not use his True Energy, he was still physically strong and could easily pick up fiftykilograms. Yet. he was unable to pick up the sword.
He could not believe it was so heavy.
How did Thea carry such a heavy sword without using her True Energy?
James took a deep breath.
Then, he slightly stimulated his True Energy.
A trace of True Energy traveled along his meridians.
“Argh…” James‘ face contorted in pain.
He quickly dissipated the True Energy, and the pain eased a lot.
In just an instant, he was sweating profusely and reached out to wipe the sweat from his forehead.
“My current body is too fragile. I can’t even bear a little bit of True Energy. I don’t know if I’ll recoverafter the New Year.”
James sighed deeply.
