Chapter 335

Chapter 335

“Tim, what should I do? Your grandma keeps staying at the company’s entrance and won’t budge!”Henry’s anxious voice sounded from the phone.

Timothy frowned upon hearing the news. His eyes were filled with resentment as he instructed in a coldvoice, “Ignore her! Don’t give her the attention she wants!”.

He returned to the discussion after he hung up. However, he still had a rather dark look on his face.

Nicholas caught on to his terrible mood and asked, “Is something the matter?”

“Nothing. It’s just some trifle affairs.”

Since Timothy did not want to trouble Nicholas, he expunged on the matter.

But in the end, Timothy was still worried as he was concerned that Amber would cause trouble in thecompany. So, he said, “President Sawyer, that’s about that for the specific plan. I still have to attend tosome matters in my company, so I shall take my leave first.”

Timothy started to put away the notebook and other items on the coffee table as he spoke. Nicholasfrowned slightly at his actions. However, he did not stop him.

Timothy hurriedly packed up and prepared to leave. However, he suddenly remembered something whenhe walked to the door. And thus, he turned around abruptly and asked, “It’s Tess’ birthday at the end ofthe month. President Sawyer, do you want to visit her?”

Nicholas was taken aback for a moment. Then, he nodded and said, “I’ll make sure to clear myschedule.”novelbin

“Alright, I’ll take my leave now.” Timothy nodded politely and bid farewell to Nicholas again.

Nicholas pondered for a moment as he watched Timothy’s retreating silhouette. Then, he turned, wentback to his desk, and called Edward into his office via internal line.

“President Sawyer, what’s the matter?”

“Send someone to follow Timothy and see what’s going on in his company.”

Edward assented and left.

Timothy took the taxi back to the company and saw a group of people surrounding the company’sentrance. Before he could get close, he saw Amber sitting on the ground in the middle of the crowd. Shewas crying and being an absolute nuisance.

“I don’t want to live! Let me die! I’m old, but my children and grandchildren are unfilial. They’re unwillingto support me. I was just here to ask for some financial aid, but I got chased out instead.”

“Everyone, just look at me! How can such a cruel grandson exist?”

“Timothy, come out! You and your sister had ruined our home. Your father’s whereabouts are stillunknown at this moment. If you don’t care for me, how can I live?”

Many passersby started sympathizing with her upon seeing an old lady in such a piteous state.

Someone among the crowd even planned to help her. “Old madam, do you know where your grandsonis? We’ll call him out for you.”

“My grandson is Timothy Reinhart, and he runs a software company in this building,” Amber said as shepointed to the building in front of her.

When the passersby saw this, they once again felt unjustified in her place.

“For him to be able to open a company here in this building, it’s enough to show he has money. But sucha person does not support his elderly? He’s simply a scumbag.”

“Does anyone know any people in this building? Let’s find this person and expose him.”

“I have an acquaintance working in this building. I’ll call and ask. By the way, old madam, what’s yourgrandson’s name again?”

“His name is Timothy Reinhart,” she replied. Amber withheld nothing when she saw people helping her.Instead, she started twisting the truth to suit her version of reality when it came to the Reinhart siblings.

Standing behind the crowd, Timothy trembled in anger when he heard her pressing false charges on himand Tessa. But then, those nosy passersby who knew absolutely nothing of the truth started throwingaccusations on their character too.

“This person is so ruthless!”

“Such an unfilial person should be sent to the police station and let the police teach him a lesson.”

“I heard that he has an older sister. They say an eldest sister is like a mother. But, judging from thebrother’s misbehavior, I think his elder sister isn’t a good person either.”

Timothy’s face turned livid as he listened to all the criticisms in stony silence.

I can accept any condemnation, but I can’t stand people criticizing Tess!
