Pulled pork no bun.” She set my plate in front of me. “Ribs for the lady. Pork withbun for you sir and lastly brisket.” Ira set our food in front of us. “Do you need anything else?” “I think we are good. Thank you!” I said to her. Ira walked away and I picked up my fork to start eating. Neither Alec or I asked what he wanted.Instead, they started eating. Alec glanced at me but didn’t comment. We ate in silence.
