It’s not about getting you away or anything. Whatever is in the storage unit, you dad felt it was important enough to hide there. Somewhere A nn obviously didn’t know about. That house is on her territory. She is luna. She can do whatever she wants and if she everfound out about that house and set fire to it, all the stuff would have been gone too.
