Chapter 2010: What You See Is Me

Chapter 2010: What You See Is Me

Agnes believed in this explanation and walked towards him, standing confidently in front of him andextending her hand with grace. "Hello, I'm Agnes, Summer's sister! Since we're neighbors andpartners with my sister, let's be friends!"

"Hello," the man smiled, his eyes gentle as he shook her hand, introducing himself calmly, "I'mSpencer. Don't form your opinion of me based on the internet, what you see is me!"

What a unique self-introduction!

As they locked eyes, the girl jokingly said, "It seems like you're not very satisfied with the onlinereviews?"

Before he could reply, the girl let go of his hand and immediately changed the topic, "I'll go call mysister! She's in the study working on the script!"

"Alright." Spencer watched his sister's figure with great joy. He was finally meeting the real person.

Not long after, Summer followed her sister out and saw Spencer standing by the dining table, theireyes met.

"Summer, still working on the script?" Spencer's thin lips opened, filled with joy and his expressionincredibly gentle, "I just steamed some shrimp, let's replenish some protein together."

This was the third time he had brought them shrimp.

Summer walked towards him, glancing at the plate of shrimp on the table, about to say somethingwhen Spencer spoke.novelbin

"I have a habit of eating shrimp, but it's boring to eat alone. Since you're next door, we can chatabout the script. I met your sister in the elevator today and came to say hello."

Agnes poured three glasses of fruit juice and placed them on the table. "Please sit, and we candiscuss the plot. I love this script too."

"You've read the script as well?" Spencer was surprised.

"I'm the lead illustrator for the comic."

"Impressive!"

Summer brought out a chair, and as she sat down, Spencer also brought out a dining chair and satopposite her. "Summer, do you remember your lines for tomorrow's scene?"

"I only read it a few times, not familiar with today's scenes yet," the girl replied truthfully, "But I'llstudy it again before bed."

Agnes brought out disposable gloves, "These shrimp are so fresh and huge! Even bigger than thosein five-star hotels!"

"The taste is great too, try them," he half-jokingly said to the sisters, "I haven't taken you to feel thebreeze of the Pacific, but I can let you taste Pacific shrimp."

"These shrimp are from the Pacific Ocean?" The sister was surprised.

Spencer nodded, "Yes, authentic Pacific shrimp."

Since Agnes loves shrimp, she didn't hesitate to start peeling one, sitting next to her sister. "Whichcharacter do you like the most?"

"I like a few characters, but Maren is my favorite."

"Don't you know you're playing this character?" the sister teased.

Then everyone ate shrimp and discussed the plot.

Spencer learned that Agnes had signed with his brother's company as a comic book artist and wasworking on this script. They had a common topic now.

They discussed their favorite characters and whether the ending was reasonable... Their viewswere mostly in agreement.

Claire's writing was really good, and many of the characters were likable, such as the second malelead Maren, Agnes's favorite character.

"I think Maren's character is really good," Summer expressed her opinion. "His waiting for Zoetouches me. He knows he loves her and knows there's no future, but he remains firm because oflove."

Spencer and the sister also agreed with her viewpoint, since everyone had studied the script.

So, as they ate shrimp, they praised Maren with a basket full of compliments, focusing solely on thecharacter, not Harlan.
