Caridee puffed her cheeks and hummed a couple of times.
She was just venting a bit.
If she really wanted to go out, she must cover her face.
After all, there was a fake Caridee taking the heat for her at Shaun's place.
If she revealed her true identity, Shaun would realize that he was with the fake Caridee.
“Then, can you give me a more attractive one? I don't want this repulsive-looking one. I'm afraid youmay not like me after seeing it.”

Caridee hummed twice without saying a word.
Simon added, “Aisley called me and urged me to hurry to the wedding venue. Are you done yet? Once
you're finished, come with me. Stop dawdling.”
Caridee leaned in close to him and asked, “Simon, can you recognize me?”
With a cold laugh, Simon turned and walked towards the door. He remarked as he went, “It was fineuntil you opened your mouth. That's when you give yourself away.”
Caridee was speechless.
Over at Centurion Plaza, the wedding of Prince Fabian and Aisley was taking place in the grand hall onthe first floor.
The Friyx royal family had booked the entire club for themselves.
Despite the vastness of the venue, it still seemed somewhat crowded, clearly illustrating the grandeurand opulence of this wedding.
In the bride's makeup room, a woman dressed in a white wedding gown was sitting in front of a mirror.
It seemed like she had been crying. Her eyes were swollen and bright red.
On one side, a noblewoman was consoling her, “Aisley, this is your fate. Accept it. I know you don't likePrince Fabian, but both of you are making sacrifices for the family. You should be proud.”

Matilda remained silent, subtly turning her face away.
Aisley reached out to grip her arm and pleaded, “Even if I am to die, you must let me die knowing thetruth. I've already agreed to the marriage alliance. Why won't you tell me the truth? Mommy, please, Ibeg you. Tell me why I must enter into this marriage.”
A flicker of hesitation crossed Matilda's eyes. After a moment of silence, she leaned in and whispered afew words into her ear.
Upon hearing that, Aisley widened her beautiful eyes in disbelief. “Mommy, I am your biologicaldaughter. How can you set me up like this? No, I won't marry. I don't want to marry. I don't want to.”
After she finished speaking, she began to tear the veil from her head.
Matilda's face darkened, and her tone became sharp. “If you refuse to marry, I will expose your oncerotten past. Once the royal family calls off the engagement, I'm afraid the other wealthy familiesprobably won't marry you either. As for Mr. Simon, you can forget about it. How can a family of suchhigh prestige and wealth ever let you in?”
