“What's the situation?”
“Ms. Juliana, Mr. Shurmer will be attending a dinner tonight at Century Hotel. He would be resting in hisprivate suite as per his habit before the dinner begins.”
Juliana tightened her grip on the phone. “Okay, I get it. Everything is to go according to plan.”

After hanging up, Juliana glanced at the room behind her, a look of resoluteness crossing her gaze.
She had to return to her family, or else Wendy and Sebastian would be in great trouble.

Bailey arched her brows. When she looked up, she saw Artemis coming out of the kitchen with twodishes. A smile formed on her lips.
“We might be getting married in a few days. Would you like to attend my wedding?”
“Of course.”
Bailey went to the balcony. After some hesitation, she chose to speak up. “Vicky, I think there'ssomething that I need you to know. Lionel and Wendy aren't married, and Sebastian isn't Lionel's kideither.”

A loud noise came through from the other side of the line. It sounded like something dropping onto thefloor.
“Are you okay, Vicky?”
“I-I'm fine. I lost my grip on my mug and dropped it on the table. I need to get a change of clothes. I'llcall you some other time, Bay.”
Bailey didn't press for more, for she was aware that Victoria would need some time to digest the newsshe just got.
After hanging up, she sent Victoria a text.

After casting her phone onto the couch, she headed for the kitchen.
She could see from afar a tall and lean figure busying himself in front of the cooking top.

Artemis turned off the stove and pushed her against the cabinet, drowning her in passionate kisses thatoverwhelmed her instantly.
After Zayron entered the kitchen, he checked the food in the pot while ignoring his parents who wereengaged in a passionate kiss. With a pout, he complained, “You guys are so sappy! I've lost all myappetite now!”
