Bailey headed toward Justin's medical base.
She didn't want to be involved in the entanglement between the three of them at first. However, sinceScarlett was so determined to bring her down and was planning something against Veronique, shecouldn't just stand by and do nothing.
Bailey would soon leave Hallsbay now that the International Programming Competition had ended.

In the study of the medical base, Bailey was leaning back against the couch.
Justin handed her a glass of juice. “May I know the reason for your visit, Mrs. Luther?”
Bailey reached for the glass of juice and sighed. “Oh, quit it. I don't feel comfortable with Mrs. Luther.”
“I think the title will stay with you forever, so I advise you to accept it. He will never let go of the womanhe sets his eyes on so easily.”

Justin continued, “I was already thinking if you've found another way to save Zephyr since the day Ifound out I was Veronique's husband at City Hall. Otherwise, you wouldn't have come up with such aterrible idea to upset Scarlett. The fact that you dared to do that proved that you didn't care aboutScarlett's bone marrow.”
Bailey's lips curved into a faint smile. How could I even forget that he is friends with Artemis? There'sno way he's dumb.
“It seems that you've already guessed what Veronique has done. That's right. She took your sperm andplanned to have a baby via in vitro fertilization so that she could use the newborn's cord blood to save
Zephyr.”
Justin was calm. Indeed, he had already guessed that possibility.
Bailey glanced at him and continued, “However, Vero has suffered from a severe injury in her wombbefore, so the baby can't grow in her body for long. You're an expert in this field. I hope you can stay byher side and monitor her condition. Remove the fetus immediately if there's any abnormality and don'tlet any harm come to her.”
Justin stayed silent and didn't give her any promises. Instead, he said, “Tell me where she is now.”
After leaving the medical base, Bailey headed straight back to Shelbert Condominium.
When she stepped out of the elevator, her phone in her pocket beeped.
She reached for her phone and saw a text from an unknown number that read: Wendy has asked Roseto deal with Victoria. They seem to have come up with some evil plan. Ask Victoria to be careful anddon't fall for their trap.

Bailey stood in front of her door for a long while. She finally snapped out of her thoughts when sheheard a deep voice from behind.
“How long are you planning to stand here? My legs are already numb.”
She looked over her shoulder and saw Artemis standing three meters away. “What are you doing here?Didn't they hold a banquet to welcome the members of the International Network Society and invite youto attend?”
Artemis snorted.
“I'm not an escort. Do I have to go when they tell me to?”
Bailey rolled her eyes at his answer. “Anyway, you're just here in time. Can you send someone to findout where Lionel is hiding Victoria? I need to ask her something.”
Artemis narrowed his eyes at her. “They're both in this situation because they want it that way. Why areyou getting yourself involved?”
Bailey was speechless.
Even if he's right, I can't just stand here and do nothing. I can't turn a blind eye especially after I find outWendy is planning to target Vicky. One is the wife, and the other is the mistress.
