After he was done speaking to Rose, he turned to the group of black-clad bodyguards and instructed,“Escort Ms. Rose down the stage. Do not delay the rest of the award ceremony.”

Rose's legs buckled from underneath her, and she slumped to the ground.
It's not me? I didn't win Best Actress? Then, why did I run up the stage so eagerly? I even made a foolout of myself.

The man cast her a glance and reminded her indifferently, “Don't forget that Artemis is sponsoring the
ceremony this year. In fact, it's a full sponsor. Naturally, the organizers are more than happy to go alongwith his wish.”
Wendy was astounded and unable to conjure a response at that moment.
The show could finally go on after Rose was pathetically dragged off the stage, and the host went on toannounce, “The winner of this year's Oscar for Best Actress is Fashionista's Rainie Yeanisky! Let uswelcome her to the stage with a round of applause!”

The bodyguards didn't hesitate to subdue the woman. One of them knocked her out and carried her outof the venue.
In the southeast area, Bailey reached out to poke Rainie in the shoulder. A smile hung on the former'slips as she said, “What are you waiting for? The host invited you onto the stage. Hurry up and goalready!”
Only then did Rainie return to her senses. “Huh? Bailey, did I really win?”

Naturally, everyone assumed the host was merely joking around as Morpheus had won hundreds ofliterary awards, but she never once showed herself at the award ceremonies.
“All right, let's move on to the next category. The winner of the Best Child Actor Award is... SusanJefferson, also known as Barbara!”
Arethea burst into tears as soon as the winner was revealed and threw herself into Shirley's embrace.
“Aunt Shirley, you lied to me! You said Uncle Zeke would help me win the Best Child Actor Award, yetSusan's the one who got it! You're all liars!” she whined.
Not knowing how to handle a child who was in the midst of a temper tantrum, Shirley merely remainedsilent.
Meanwhile, the rest of the audience couldn't help expressing their thoughts about the situation. “Oh my,Arethea didn't win? How is that possible?”
“I know, right? How could she lose, and how on earth did Susan Jefferson manage to snag the award?”
“Can't you see she's merely playing dumb? She already knew she was going to win but still put on aninnocent act. We were all fooled by her!”
Susan was dressed in a ball gown, making her look like a princess. She got to her feet and skippedgleefully toward the stage to receive her award.
It was an incredibly heart-warming scene to behold.
“What a cute little girl!”
“As expected of Bailey's daughter! I love her so much!”
Artemis glanced at his daughter's silhouette. His gaze on her was incredibly tender.
This was Artemis' territory, so naturally, he would do everything to give his daughter the carefree lifeshe deserved.
After the little girl went up to the stage, she stood on her toes and attempted to grab the award that wassitting on the podium.
Unfortunately, she was too short, and all of her attempts to grab the award ended up in failure.
Oh no... This is embarrassing. The award is right in front of me, but I'm not tall enough to grab it!
With exasperation written all over her face, Susan glanced at the host and pouted. “Mister, can youhelp me out? The podium's too tall for me.”
The host walked over with a smile plastered on his face. He gently patted the little girl on the head andsaid, “Don't worry, princess. Someone will present the award to you.”
The audience couldn't help but chuckle at how endearing the little girl was.
After all, who could possibly dislike such an adorable girl?
Just then, the host cleared his throat and announced, “Tonight, we were fortunate enough to invite an
incredibly special guest to the ceremony. Let us welcome the world-famous author, Morpheus, to thestage to present the award for Best Child Actor!”

The audience's jaws dropped as disbelief spread across their faces.
What did we just hear? Morpheus is here? Where? Where is she?
“Is Ms. Morpheus really here?” Someone leaped to their feet excitedly. It was none other than the manwho won the Best Actor award.
