Chapter 2379

Sean and the others stayed in Greenrie Cathedral's courtyard.

There should have been priests in Greenrie Cathedral, but for some reason, it was empty.novelbin

The quiet courtyard looked a little run-down, and the pine tree in the middle of the courtyard even had a

lot of dead branches and leaves.

"Mr. Lennon, come and see!"

One Optimus member standing by the pine trees suddenly shouted.

Sean raised his eyebrows and walked over to him.

Three words were carved into the pine tree: [Everyone must die.]

This place was Ocean City's famous Greenrie Cathedral, so it was confusing why someone would

carve something like that.

Sean frowned before his expression changed. Despite the others' shocked gazes, Sean’s figure had

disappeared.

Sean ran straight into Greenrie Cathedral, leaving a group of Optimus members staring at each other.

Millie and Cynthia, who had already entered Greenrie Cathedral, were already tied to chairs.

It was a dark room with only two oil lamps burning slowly.

The flickering lights made the already dark room seem even more eerie.

"Who are you?"

Millie asked, looking at the man before them in horror.

The man looked Millie up and down and replied with a grin." You're indeed Serena's daughter. You're

just as beautiful as her."

'Serena... Does this man know Mom?' Millie wondered.

Millie's heart skipped a beat as she looked at the man before her in disbelief.

"Hehe, I know what you're thinking. Are you curious about my relationship with your mother?"

The man asked suddenly.

Millie nodded with shock lingering in her eyes.

Her mother, Serena Darth, died during childbirth.

Fabian never remarried and raised Millie alone.

Millie had never seen her mother, and only a few photos at home showed her what her mother looked

like.

The memory of her mother seemed to have diminished, but the man's remark made Millie recall her

mother's looks.

"Haha, Serena was mine!

"It's that brute, Fabian's fault! If it weren't for him, Serena wouldn't have left me and died!

"And you little bastard. If it weren't for you, Serena wouldn't have died!"

As he spoke to the end, the man who had been calm suddenly behaved like an angry beast, yelling at

Millie.

Millie was so frightened by his fierce appearance that she did not know what to say for a moment.

"If it weren't for Serena, I'd be dead...

"But I swear I want your family to die for Serena!

"It's the only way I can face Serena!"

The man calmed down again. His eyes looked grimly at Millie and said coldly.

There was a flicker of fear in Millie's eyes. The calm man seemed even more frightening than when he

was in a rage.

"What do you want? Come at me. Don't touch Ms. Winters!"

Cynthia on the side suddenly shouted.

The man looked at Cynthia when he heard that.

He smiled grimly. "You're a good-looking girl."

As he spoke, the man walked over to Cynthia and reached out to touch her face.
