The next second, his pupils constricted as if he had realized something surprising.
Without thinking much, Sean pulled out his phone to call Zander.
The call was answered in just two seconds.
"Find Daniel and the others immediately. Then, go to Davis Residence, Carver Residence, and Quartz
Residence. The Lake family might do something to them!"
Without giving Zander a chance to speak, Sean quickly said.
Then, Sean immediately hung up and walked out of the office.
Carter saw a figure emerge from Optimus Security Services, and worry flickered in his eye.
However, the worry in his eyes instantly vanished when he saw who it was. Instead, there was
excitement.
Sean was the one Kennedy wanted to go after.
He thought that as the boss of Optimus Security Services, Sean must be protected by several Optimus
members. Unexpectedly, the huge Optimus Security Services building turned out to be empty, and
Sean seemed to be the only one there.
"It's my lucky day!
"Those fools asked me to do this menial task. Who knew I'd get lucky?
"If I bring Sean to Old Master Lake, will he reward me handsomely?"
Carter muttered to himself, even starting to imagine how Kennedy would reward him.
In his opinion, Sean could not fight, and taking him down was a piece of cake.
He did not rush to strike. Daniel and others' abilities had traumatized him, and he was afraid that Daniel
would rush out of Optimus Security Services when he attacked Sean.
He did not want to go through the torture again.
Sean stood quietly in the doorway with his back to Carter, smiling for some reason.
After waiting several minutes without seeing anyone else coming out of Optimus Security Services,
Carter was finally relieved.
He suddenly stood up, and Sean turned to look at him.
"Mr. Lennon, we met again."
Carter walked leisurely over to Sean and said with a smile.
Sean looked at him and said with a smile, "Yeah, what are you doing lurking in my building?"
"What am I doing? What else can I do? To capture you, of course!"
Carter smiled and added, "Maybe you don't know how much Old Master Lake wants to kill you right
now, Mr. Lennon?
"How much do you think Old Master Lake will reward me if I send you to him?"
Carter let out a sinister laugh as he spoke.
"You seem to think you already captured me?"
Sean asked with a smile, his hands behind him.novelbin
Carter felt like he was in a chokehold when he heard that, and his laughter stopped abruptly.
He looked around warily, but there was still no one around, and Carter was relieved.
Then, he stared grimly at Sean and said with a sneer, "Mr. Lennon, let's not make jokes like that.
"Since Daniel and the rest aren't here, isn't taking you down a piece of cake?"
Sean shook his head and smiled. Then, his figure shot through the distance between them, and he
instantly appeared before Carter.
Before Carter knew it, a large hand was already around his neck.
A terrifying force lifted Carter off the ground.
