Chapter 2067

The clinic director looked at the empty clinic lobby with dismay.novelbin

'Strange, why is it so quiet today?"

The staff in charge of the reception replied, "Sir, there's a new traditional medicine center not far from

us, and it's very busy right now."

"A traditional medicine center like ours?" The clinic director raised his eyebrows. "Gosh, stealing our

business? That's bad."

The clinic director muttered and immediately came up with an idea.

"Yes, put up a banner, saying it's to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. As for the price, we'll lose

some money temporarily and offer the same price as the other clinic."

The people here immediately carried out the orders per the clinic director's suggestion.

Even so, there was little success. Not many came, and Sean's clinic was still bustling with people.

The clinic director gritted his teeth when he saw that.

"Damn it, it's all the same price. Why would these people wait in line to get to that new place?"

Suddenly, a better idea occurred to him.

The clinic director asked the clinic staff, "Have you seen the scabby man lately?"

The woman in front of the cashier nodded. "I saw him this morning, I think he went this way today."

"Hmph, that stinking beggar disappears when he's needed. And when he’s not needed, he keeps

showing up in front of us. What an eyesore."

The clinic director quickly looked for the scabby man after cursing a little.

The scabby man was covered in filthy pustules. It was quite disgusting, and you could smell the stench

from a distance.

The scabby man appeared in the clinic director's eyes, and the clinic director covered his nose and

mouth in disgust.

"You dirty thing. It took me a while to find you."

"What's the matter?" the scabby man could not help but ask.

The clinic director said nothing but tossed ten banknotes to the scabby man.

Seeing the money, the scabby man's eyes glimmered instantly.

"Can... Can... Can... Can pigs fly now? Sir, why are you giving me so much money?"

"Cut the crap. Would I look for you for no reason?" The clinic director sneered. "Do something for me

after taking my money."

"What is it?"

The clinic director simply told the scabby man what he needed to do, yet the scabby man's face was

already full of hesitation.

Seeing the scabby man's expression, the clinic director looked disgusted. "What's the matter? Are you

unwilling to get paid?"

"No, it's just such a bad thing to do. I..."

Before the scabby man could finish, the clinic director stomped his feet angrily.

"If you don't do it, others will! You're just a beggar. What's with all the pretending?"

He planned to pick up the money on the ground as he yelled.

However, when he saw the money stained with the scabby man's pus, the clinic director immediately

withdrew the idea.

It was like accidentally dropping money into a cesspool. Those who lacked money would desperately

save it, even if it was disgusting. The rich would do otherwise. They would leave it instantly.

"Will you do it or not?" the clinic director yelled at the scabby man.

"But this..."

Hearing this, the clinic director clicked his tongue impatiently.

He took out ten more banknotes and threw them in front of the scabby man again.

"You're a filthy beggar who will take forever to get this money. I'm going to ask you a question. Are you

going to do it? I'll give you another thousand after you succeed."

It was a lot of money for a beggar like the scabby man.
