Chapter 1984

"Yes," Sean replied calmly.

"I owe you a lot of gratitude. You saved my life by curing my illness," Old Master Yale said.

However, Sean shook his head and said, "Don't mention it, Old Master Yale. I never charge for housenovelbin

calls."

Old Master Yale chuckled and asked, "Do you mean my life is worth nothing?"

Anyone else would have been horrified. However, Sean's calm expression did not show the slightest

change. His emotions also did not fluctuate at all.

He replied calmly, "Old Master Yale, you're the former head of the Yale family. Although you're old now,

you're still the head of the Yale family, so your life is by no means nothing. It's just that everyone has

their insistence and principles. My principle is that I don't charge people for treatment. You're only the

former head of the Yale family. Even if you were the sovereign of Dragon Kingdom, I will still answer

you the same way..."

Old Master Yale threw his head back and laughed when he heard Sean's remark. However, he

suddenly coughed hard as he laughed.

Lola hurried over and slapped Old Master Yale on the back to make him feel better.

"Look at you. You made my grandpa so happy!"

Lola glared at Sean, but Sean did not even look at her. Old Master Yale looked at Lola and then Sean.

Suddenly, he asked Sean, "Dr. Lennon, let me find you a wife. What do you think?"

Zander and Lola froze once he said that. Even Sean, who was about to drink coffee from his mug, had

his hand paused in mid-air.

"My granddaughter, Lola, is one of the most beautiful girls in Midwich. What do you think?" Old Master

Yale looked at Sean playfully.

"Grandpa, what nonsense are you talking about?" Lola said with great embarrassment and anger.

However, she immediately turned her head away from her grandfather and Sean after she finished

speaking. It was as if she were afraid to see anyone.

Sean was no longer in the mood for coffee. He slowly put down his mug and shook his head seriously.

"Don't..."

Lola paused again once he said that. It was already hard enough that her grandfather was marrying her

to Sean. However, Sean quickly turned her down on the spot!

It was even more unacceptable to her!

Before Old Master Yale could even speak, Lola turned around and glared at Sean, asking, "What's the

matter? Am I not good enough for you?"

"It's not whether you're good enough. It's whether we're right for each other. To be honest, I'm

uneducated. Although no one can compare to me now, I still can't be considered a member of high

society. So please allow me to decline..."

Once he finished speaking, Sean got up and said to Zander, "Zander, let's go. We're done with curing

Old Master Yale's illness. There's no point in staying here."

"Try walking out this door!" Lola's cheeks were red with anger as she clenched her hands.

Without hesitation, Sean led Zander out of the living room and strode toward Yale Residence's

courtyard.

He would not tell anyone about Willow. However, he would always remember that a woman who had

taken care of him for two years was waiting for him in River City.

He had gone to Dorodo and Midwich, and he did all this to complete the task and rebuild his strength.

Then he would have a chance to return to the Northwest Army and reclaim his former glory.

It was partly to get revenge but also to give Willow a more stable life.
