Chapter 1973

12 p.m.

Springview Manor in a northern suburb of Midwich.

Freddy sat in his chair and looked coldly at Joe, the red-haired youngster, and the blonde youngster

kneeling before him.

"More than 80 of you can't defeat one guy, and you even cost me nearly two million dollars! You can't

do anything right!"

Freddy shouted, saliva flying out of his mouth.

The bearded Joe looked down and said nothing, but the red-haired youngster could not stand it

anymore and said helplessly, "Freddy, we have no choice. Sean is too strong. We're no match for him.

Many of our men were wounded, including me. It shows that we’re not scared of fighting; we really

can't beat him."

After a pause, the red-haired youngster added, "Besides, Sean called Benji Liamson, the chairman of

Liamson Security Services. Benji brought over 500 security guards. Freddy, there were only 80 of us,

and 30 of us were wounded and on the ground. How could the remaining 50 beat more than 500 men?

It's not that we didn't try; we just can't!"

"Is that a f*cking good excuse?"

Freddy was so mad that he kicked the red-haired youngster over with one kick.

After kicking over the red-haired youngster, Freddy sat again in his chair. He pondered for a moment

before saying, "It seems Sean is a tough guy to mess with."

It was then that Joe said, "Freddy, think about it. The Jensen family is one of the top four families in

Midwich. Will ordinary people mess with the

Jensen family? Sean not only offended the Jensen family, but the Jensen family also can't do anything

to Sean, which already shows that Sean isn't easy. So Fernando must be up to no good and must have

been hiding some information about Sean since he asked you to go after him."

"What you said makes sense... I've got people looking into Sean. I expect results soon."

Freddy said with a nod.

A youngster rushed in as soon as he finished speaking.

"Freddy, I looked into it. Sean is not your average nobody. He's difficult to defeat!"

The youngster said as he entered.

Freddy looked at the youngster and asked, "Tell me who Sean is and where he's from."

The youngster hesitated slightly before replying, "Freddy, I didn't find out who Sean is or where he's

from... B-But I found something else. Sean is not only close to Benji, but he's also close to the director

of the prosecutors' office, Derrick Crate, and the chief police, Gabe Wholeton. Besides that, Gabe and

Derrick have become shareholders of East World Hotel and are the two largest shareholders besides

Sean. They each owned 20%!novelbin

"The patriarch of the Jensen family, Fernando, had been going against Sean openly and secretly. Once

Gabe, Derrick, and Benji showed up, Fernando surrendered immediately. After all, no matter how

powerful the Jensen family was, they wouldn't dare to take on the Midwich government. Besides, if the

police and the prosecutors' office join forces, the Jensen family is no match for them!

"So Sean isn't an ordinary man. I think he may be a big shot from a major city and has a close

relationship with the authorities!"

Freddy's face darkened when he heard this.

After a while, Freddy slowly said, "That son of a b*tch Fernando. I treated him like a brother and tried to

get justice for him, but he hid such important information and deliberately got me into trouble... I won't

go easy on him!"

"Calm down, Freddy. Have you forgotten what Boss said? White Group isn't very stable lately, so we

shouldn't attract too much attention to ourselves. It's not too late for you to get revenge when this blows

over."

Joe advised calmly.

Freddy's expression gradually softened when Joe said that.

"We can't do anything big lately. Valentino ruins everything. He caused us to lose a batch of goods, and

was ordered to commit suicide by Boss... Let's talk about it after a while."

Freddy said slowly.

Joe's expression changed slightly when he heard the word, "Valentino", but he said nothing.

Two days passed.

Sean had gone to many places in Midwich with Zander these two days.
