Chapter 1947

Zander was instantly embarrassed and excited at the same time.

He looked inquisitively at Sean-asking Sean if he wanted to hire a princess.

However, a cry of surprise came from a distance before Sean had said anything.

"Dr. Lennon! You came!"

Then a young woman in a miniskirt and a crop top quickly ran toward Sean and Zander.

The young woman was Lyla, who went to give trouble to Sean before and had her gonorrhea cured by

Sean.

Lyla was overjoyed to see Sean. She ran toward Sean and Zander, pushing the bartender away as

soon as she reached him.

"They're the guests I invited. We’re good here. Go about your business."

Lyla said happily.

The bartender smiled and left.

Once Lyla sat down, Sean asked, "Do you work here? Do you work every day?"

Lyla replied, "Well, yes, I work here, but not every day. I only come here Monday to Friday. After all, I

have a personal life. There's no way I can spend all my time here."

Then Lyla said, "Don't look down on me. I'm a college student! I'm here to earn my tuition and living

expenses."

Sean and Zander were surprised to hear this.

'Lyla's a college student?'

"Why do you have to earn your tuition and living expenses? Where are your parents? Don't they

provide for you?" Zander asked.novelbin

Lyla rolled her eyes at Zander and said, "If my parents were alive, they wouldn't leave me alone. But

my parents are long dead. I don't have anyone but me."

"Sorry to remind you of something bad."

Sean said apologetically.

However, Lyla waved her hand gallantly. "My parents have been dead for years. It doesn’t bother me

anymore."

Sean and Zander were dumbstruck.

"Tell us about yourself. Zander and I are curious," Sean continued saying.

Lyla replied in acknowledgment before telling her life story.

Lyla was from Midwich. She was born into an ordinary family. Her mother was a housewife, while her

father was an ordinary office worker.

Although her family conditions were ordinary, their life was happy.

However, Lyla's parents were killed in a car accident just before Lyla graduated from junior high school.

Since then, Lyla's life had been turned upside down.

She had exhausted her family's savings by the time she was in high school. Although she was admitted

to a local university in Midwich, her tuition and living expenses were a problem.

As a freshman, Lyla took advantage of her free time to work at White Rose Nightclub in the evening.

Although she only worked from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., she was tired because she often had to drink with her

clients.

However, despite its reputation, the job did offer quick money.

Lyla not only had enough tuition money but also a pretty good life.

"If you've saved enough money, why work here? You have already saved 200,000 dollars yourself.

Including the 100,000 dollars that the person from the Yale family had paid you, you already have

300,000 dollars. Is all that money not enough to put you through college?"

Sean asked with a frown.
