Chapter 1929

There were still people who had not left around. When they saw the young woman's action, they froze

instantly.

The girl was so domineering. Without saying a word, she took out a bank card and spoke

domineeringly like a female version of the overbearing president.

Suddenly, someone looked at the young girl and exclaimed, "Isn't she Lola Yale, the heiress of the Yale

family?"

"Lola Yale? She's Lola Yale?"

"Why did the heiress of the Yale family come to Dr. Lennon?"

"I knew it. Ms. Yale must be here to ask Dr. Lennon to treat her grandfather!"novelbin

"The former patriarch of the Yale family, Cedric Yale, has suddenly fallen ill a few years ago and has

been bedridden ever since."

"The Yale family is wealthy. Can't they find a doctor who can cure their former patriarch?"

"Nonsense! Money isn't everything. Money is nothing in front of the circle of life."

There were various discussions from all around, which made Lola's expression ghastly.

She turned coldly and glanced around, and the onlookers, who had just been talking, shut up. Then

Lola turned around in satisfaction and looked back at Sean.

"There are five million dollars in this bank card. If you come with me, the five million dollars will be

yours regardless of whether you can cure my grandpa's disease," Lola said with her chin slightly

raised, her gaze arrogant.

Zander could not help letting out a chuckle. Sean could not help smiling too.

"Ms. Yale, right? Do you think I lack money?" Sean asked with a smile.

"Aren't you? If you don't lack money, why do you have to set up a stall here treating people?"

Lola's tone was so confident that the onlookers around her could not help but laugh.

Lola's face blushed slightly as she heard the laughter around her, but then her eyebrows raised as she

snapped, "Why are you laughing? Is there anything wrong with what I said?"

A 70-year-old man said with a smile, "Ms. Yale, Dr. Lennon's treatment is free. He doesn't charge any

fees."

"Yeah, Dr. Lennon is a kind man who doesn't expect anything in return."

"He doesn't lack money at all. Dr. Lennon is a good doctor. He can make money easily if he wants to."

The crowd said.

Lola realized she was wrong when she heard that, and she was ridiculously wrong.

Her grandfather's illness acted up today, so she hurriedly went to Midwich First People's Hospital to

find a doctor. On her way there, she suddenly heard that a skillful Dr. Lennon had appeared in Midwich,

so she changed her direction and came here.

She had thought Dr. Lennon would accept her request and follow her to Yale Residence to cure the

former patriarch of the Yale family, Cedric, no matter what his temper was like as long as she was

willing to pay him. However, she suddenly realized she had oversimplified the problem.

"Dr. Lennon is also the owner of East World Hotel. He's worth tens of millions of dollars. Although he's

no match for Midwich's influential families, he doesn't lack money."

"Yeah, the Yale family is too na?ve."

"Heiresses are all the same. They never leave the house, so they don't understand these things."

Lola felt humiliated as the people around her commented and laughed.

She bit her lip, looked at Sean, and asked, "Dr. Lennon, five million dollars might not seem like much to

you, but it should be enough for you to do a house call, right?"

"It's enough, and it's much more than enough. But I won't accept it..." Sean picked up the bank card

and handed it to Lola.
