Chapter 1895

Fernando was the patriarch of the Jensen family, but Gabe did not have to be too nice to Fernando. As

the chief police, he was powerful in Midwich after all.

Sean glanced calmly at Fernando and Jonathan and said, "What happened earlier..."

Before Sean could finish talking, Fernando quickly said, "What happened earlier is the Jensen family's

fault. Let me apologize to you, Mr. Lennon!"

With that said, Fernando patted Jonathan on the head and said, "Punk, why aren't you apologizing to

Mr. Lennon?"

"I'm sorry. I was too arrogant..." Jonathan said reluctantly.

Many guests walked by. They could not help but look at Sean and the others.novelbin

They knew Fernando and Jonathan. Some even wanted to greet Fernando and Jonathan to get

acquainted with them. However, Fernando and Jonathan unexpectedly apologized to Sean, which

shocked them.

Who is this young man?

Why did Fernando and Jonathan give in to him when he's dressed so plainly that anyone can tell he's

not from an influential family or a wealthy businessman?

How strange!

However, as soon as they saw Gabe standing next to Sean and Zander, they instantly understood.

It turned out that these two had the support of the chief police, Gabe. No wonder Fernando and his son

gave in. They must have given in because of Chief Police Wholeton.

With that in mind, the people around were relieved.

Fernando also noticed a lot of onlookers around them, and many of them were acquaintances, so he

forced a chuckle and quickly left with his son to avoid further humiliation.

As soon as Fernando and his son left, a potbellied middle-aged man walked up to Gabe with a smile

and greeted him.

"Chief Police Wholeton, long time no see. You’ve gotten more powerful. You can even make Fernando

and his son apologize to your subordinates."

Huh? Subordinates?'

Gabe glanced at Sean and Zander in shock before realizing it.

This guy thought Sean and Zander were his subordinates!

Gabe shook his head and denied it. "Mr. Sturgis, they're not my subordinates. They're my old

comrades!"

"Oh? Is that so?"

The potbellied businessman glanced calmly at Sean and Zander, his eyes slightly disdainful. It seemed

he did not buy Gabe’s story.

"Chief Police Wholeton, it's late. The auction is about to start. I'm going to find my seat. We'll have a

good drink when we have time."

After the potbellied man left, several more people came to greet Gabe while Sean and Zander were left

on the sidelines.

Gabe was sweating.

After dealing with the people who came to greet him, he explained to Sean sheepishly, "Commander,

they misunderstood you and Zander, thinking you were my subordinates... I explained it to them, but

they still wouldn't believe me. I didn't mean it. Don't get me wrong..."

"Why would I misunderstand such a trivial matter?" Sean waved his hand casually.

Gabe was finally relieved when Sean said that.

The auction was about to begin. Gabe, Sean, and Zander sat in their seats and waited for the auction

to begin.
