"Stop!" Sean ordered under his breath.

The city defense soldiers at the front stopped, and the city defense soldiers behind naturally followed

suit.

"Zander, keep guard here while I take two city defense soldiers to investigate. If I confirm that the

bandits are the ones who took Dorodo's residents, I'll signal you with a flare!" Sean said to Zander.

Zander wanted to say something, but Sean had already headed that way with two city defense soldiers.

Sean did not take these 200 city defense soldiers with him because it would be too loud with so many

people riding together. The bandits would notice them before they got close. It was why he approached

so quietly with only two soldiers.

After confirming they were their targets, he could create chaos with his men to delay them while firing a

flare to inform Zander to pursue them with the rest.

200 city defense soldiers and Zander were about three kilometers away from the camp.

Sean and two city defense soldiers were now about 500 meters away.

"Dismount. We'll close in on foot!" Sean ordered.

"Yes!"

The two city defense soldiers answered under their breath. Then the three of them dismounted and

approached the camp on foot, finding that it was indeed the camp of a stray mercenary regiment.

There were 40 or so men in the stray mercenary regiment. Sean found out the number of people in the
