Chapter 1827

"This can't go on. If we let that Sean do whatever he wants, our families won't have a future in Dorodo!"

Cole said exasperatedly.

"Then tell me what we should do. We have businesses in other cities, but the ones in Dorodo were the

biggest. Now that we're restricted in Dorodo, our losses are more than 50%. Can you solve this

problem?" Dylan asked in reply.

Elijah said nothing. He was deep in thought, trying to figure out what to do next. Cole had no idea whatnovelbin

to do. He had never been calculating.

Just then, an old man rushed in.

The old man was the Walker family's butler.

"Sir! Sir! We're in trouble! The city defense army has sent Young Master back! The three young

masters had been beaten half to death and are now unconscious!"

Elijah, Cole, and Dylan's expressions instantly turned ghastly when they heard this.

"Bring them in quickly!" Elijah ordered, and the servants soon carried Lionel, Solomon, and Nathan on

stretchers into the small living room.

Elijah was heartbroken to see his son on a stretcher with bruises all over his back and legs!

Not only Elijah but Cole and Dylan also trembled in anger as their faces grew livid!

"We can't solve the problem, so let's solve the person who created the problem!" Cole snarled.

"I think so too..." Dylan nodded in agreement.

Elijah finally made up his mind after hearing that.

He glared fiercely through the window toward the city defense army's main camp and roared, "Sean

Lennon, the Walker family will not stop until you're dead!"

It was already evening.

Sean and Zander arrived together at Dorodo's slum in the west. It was only a day later, but the slum

had changed tremendously.

The garbage was gone, there was less sewage on the road, the pungent stink in the air was much

weaker. Many poor people were queuing up for food at the slum's entrance.

Since all the factories and companies in the slum were closed for rectification, the poor did not need to

work for the time being. However, they lost their income if they lost their job. Thus, Quentin opened

Dorodo's granary and distributed food at Sean's suggestion.

Food was distributed on a per capita basis and only to the poor of Dorodo's slum in the west. Everyone

over 12 would receive 500 grams of wheat or rice, two buns, and two packages of pickles per day.

Children under 12 could each receive 250 grams of wheat or rice a day, two buns, and two packets of

pickles.

It was not a lot of food, but it was enough to keep the poor from starving to death when all the

companies and factories were closed for rectification. Besides, the slum was now under development.

Many bulldozers and excavators had moved in to level the land and build hospitals, new factories, and

small houses.

The hospital under construction was the future Dorodo Third People's Hospital, of course.

Numerous new factories would be making all sorts of products, which could satisfy the daily needs of

the slum.

Small houses were generally only 60 square meters, which was small. Such houses were only suitable

for single people in Dragon Kingdom's large cities.
