Chapter 1171

“What?”

Jimmy frowned slightly.

“Mr. Lidell? You can’t go in. Please make way. There are people behind you.”

The young man repeated.

“Do you know what you’re saying?”

Jimmy looked at the young man with impatience emerging slowly in his eyes.

However, the young man only laughed playfully and ignored Jimmy. Instead, he continued to check the

other companies‘ invitations.

Jimmy’s face reddened.

It was humiliating to watch other companies enter the venue successfully while he could only stand

there with his crowd!

Jane also frowned with a growing sense of foreboding.

‘Is everything Sean said true?

‘Can he really decide whether my company can enter with one word?‘

“What’s the meaning of this?

“Why do you refuse to let us in after giving us an invitation?”

Jimmy asked the young man angrily.

“As the organizer, Reach For Will Group has the right to do that.

“We can decide who to let in with only one word, of course.”

To Jimmy’s surprise, the young man replied without hesitation. He admitted it straightforwardly.

He was clearly telling him there was nothing he could do, even if he picked on them.

“You! Are you playing me?”

Jimmy gritted his teeth slightly, growing angrier.

“Yes, we are.”

The young man admitted again with a sneer.

“You! Isn’t Reach For Will Group going too far by doing that?”

Jimmy’s face grew darker.

“Are you mad? Hold it in then.

“Guards, escort them out.”

The young man’s tone was merciless,

Seven or eight security guards stepped forward as soon as he spoke.

The security guards on site today were Flint’s men.

These members of the underworld looked fierce and aggressive.

Jimmy dared not say anything more after seeing them.

“Dad, we…”

Blushing, Jane reached over and tugged at Jimmy’s clothes.

No one knew how aggrieved Jimmy felt.

He had expected to attend Reach For Will Group’s groundbreaking ceremony.

He could make many connections even if he did not get a piece of the action. Now, they could not even

get in.

It was obvious that Jane’s friend deliberately got in their way.

Jane did not expect Sean to be that capable.

“Okay! Reach For Will Group, I’ll keep this in mind!”

Jimmy gritted his teeth slightly and turned to leave.

He could not stand standing there any longer, being looked at like a monkey.

They did not expect to be turned away at the door when they had come over excitedly.

Even if upset, there was nothing they could do.

After all, it was Reach For Will Group’s territory.

Reach For Will Group even ruled River City now.

Jimmy could not beat Reach For Will Group with what little power he had.

“Dad, can we stay out here?”

Jane whispered, seeing that the crowd outside was only ordinary people.

“Hmph! Only lowlifes will stay out there. I refuse to stay here.”

Jimmy gritted his teeth and snorted coldly. He did not want to stoop to join the event by staying outside.

Therefore, he would rather not take part in it.

They got in the car and drove away.

Jane had no idea that having a meal with Willow yesterday would cost her company a spot to attend

the ceremony.

Not long after Jane’s family left, Old Madam Quinn and members of the Quinn family arrived.

Even though they did not get along with Sean, Quinn Corporation was now a part of Reach For Will

Group.

Therefore, it was natural that they attended the groundbreaking ceremony held by the Reach For Will

Group

More importantly, with so many important people here today, they would gain a lot of advantages by

being here.

Having a local business in River City as well as being an established family, the Quinn family knew

many people.

Many companies and other parties greeted Old Madam Quinn and the rest along the way.

Old Madam Quinn went to the entrance with a smile.

However, Old Madam Quinn and the rest were also stopped at the entrance.

“Old Madam Quinn, please show me your invitation card.”novelbin

A young man asked with a smile as he looked at Old Madam Quinn.

“Invitation card?”

Old Madam Quinn froze.

“Yes.

“Our record states that the Quinn family has received an invitation card. Please provide it.”

The young man nodded gently and explained to Old Madam Quinn.

“What invitation card? What record? We didn’t receive it.”

Simon frowned and said to the young man, dissatisfied.

Old Madam Quinn blushed slightly.

Simon did not know. How could she not know?

Sean did give her an invitation earlier.

However, she was so angry that she threw the invitation on the floor.

If they wanted to enter the venue, they had to provide an invitation. What should they do?

“The Quinn family did receive an invitation.”

The young man looked at the record again before speaking earnestly.

“When was it given? How did we not know?”

Samuel asked in dissatisfaction, also frowning.

“I know.”

Old Madam Quinn gritted her teeth slightly and could only admit it.

“Old Madam, you know about his?

“Where’s the invitation? Where is it?”

Samuel and the rest immediately looked at Old Madam Quinn.

“I threw it away…”

Old Madam Quinn replied softly, blushing.

“You threw it away? Have… Have you lost your mind?”

“Why did you throw it away?”

“Yeah, Grandma. That’s the invitation to enter the venue. Don’t you want to enter it?”

“How could you do that? Aren’t you just looking for trouble?”

Old Madam Quinn was suddenly the object of criticism.

Everyone in the Quinn family was complaining to Old Madam Quinn.

Jane’s incident was nothing. Few people in River City knew them, so it was not that humiliating.

However, the Quinn family was well known in River City.

It was humiliating to have so many people they knew looking at them as they got barred!

While the Quinn family was stuck in a sticky situation, a group of people suddenly emerged from

behind.

The leader looked calm as he walked steadily.

He was followed by several middle–aged men, all of them River City’s big shots.

The young man was none other than Sean.
