Chapter 1165

Chapter 1165

“Why isn’t your boyfriend here? He has no concept of time.

“If it were me, I would have broken up with him.”

Jane looked at her luxury women’s watch on her wrist and said with a frown.

“Hey, he’s here!

“Sean, over here!”

Willow was about to answer when she saw Sean walk through the door. She stood up and shouted

softly.

Sean smiled at the sight of Willow and walked over.

“Sean, I’d like you to meet Jane Lidell, my childhood friend.

Jane, this is my fiancé, Sean Lennon.”

Willow got up and introduced them to each other.

“Hello.”

Sean nodded at Jane to greet her.

Jane looked at Sean with no intention of standing up.

It did not bother Sean, and he sat next to Willow.

Jane said nothing. She sized up Sean with a subtle contempt flickering in the depths of her eyes.

Sean did not care about his clothes and was uninterested in luxury brands. He usually dressed

casually.

Those who knew him well knew how he was.

However, Sean was a country bumpkin to an heiress like Jane.

“Willow, Well… you have somewhat disappointed me!”

Jane looked at Willow and shook her head slightly.

“Oh, what are you talking about? Let’s order.”

Willow waved her hand slightly and picked up her phone.

“Let me do it. Waiter.”

Sean raised his hand and called out to the distance.

“What the h*ll? No way.novelbin

“Don’t you know restaurants use contactless ordering now? What are you calling the waiter for?”

Jane burst out in laughter as if she were looking at a hillbilly.

“Jane, what are you talking about?

“Many places don’t support contactless ordering.”

Willow gently put her phone down again, frowning as she defended Sean.

“You mean those roadside stalls? I will be impressed if they have contactless payment.

“Everywhere I go uses contactiess ordering.

“Has Sean never been to a place like this before?”

Jane asked, shaking her head and smiling.

“I rarely come to such places.”

Sean nodded. He had been an orphan since childhood.

He had been living in an orphanage for as long as he could remember.

He trained in the army after growing up. The Northwest Army did not have any fancy restaurants.

Therefore, specifically speaking, Sean was a hillbilly in these fancy places.

“Haha! I knew it!

“But it’s not your fault. Not everyone has access to fancy places at all times.”

Jane smiled with satisfaction. She had achieved her goal.

When Sean first came over, she saw that his clothes were not luxury brands, and she decided that

Sean’s family was not well off.

She was right after testing it.

“Jane, Sean’s just not into these things. He has other things to do.”

Willow did not say that to defend Sean. It was what was really on her mind.

She thought the way Sean strived in the business world was much more handsome than men who

knew nothing but having fun and drinking.

“Hehe. Is he that busy? What does he do for a living?”

Jane put down her phone and said as she curled her lip.

Willow froze for two seconds.

She could not describe Sean’s job.

After all, Sean did not have a proper job right now.

His only official job position was as president of Quinn Corporation’s headquarters.

“Willow, he’s not unemployed, is he?”

Jane asked in feigned shock when Willow fell silent.
