After saying that, he booted the man who threatened him in the stomach and took back the money hehad given the latter earlier.
Aiden was now reluctant to pay those men the twenty thousand. On any other day, he might not havecared about that sum, but Alex had caused him to lose seven hundred million that day, an amount largeenough to let Aiden dwell on that matter and feel displeased for a few days.
The two brothers were infuriated. They had caught the person for Aiden, yet not only were they notpaid, but they were also beaten by him.
“Aiden, no matter what, you’re the owner of a big company, so how can you go back against yourword?” the older among the two men questioned Aiden.
Aiden didn’t plan to argue further with them. He rolled his eyes at them contemptuously and instructedhis bodyguards, “Give these two a good beating, then throw them out. D’mn it! How dare they try tomake trouble for me. Don’t they know I’m in a foul mood today?”
Subsequently, the bodyguards dragged the two men out. Aiden refocused his attention on Jessica,lying inside the car. He approached the vehicle and pulled off the black sack over her head, revealingher exquisite visage.
