Chapter 927

Chapter 927 Harassmentnovelbin

On Alex’s wedding day, Heather put on exquisite makeup and a black strapless gown that cost amillion. Her busty bosom, slender hips, and long porcelain white thighs were all accentuated by it.

The reason she had dressed to impress was so that she could outshine Maggie at the wedding. Shewanted to prove to the latter who the more beautiful one of the two was.

Due to Carmen’s stupidity and Lucas’ spendthrift ways, the Jenningses had nothing but an empty villaand Heather’s Audi A7 left.

Heather had to sell her car to pay for the luxurious gown she tailored for the event.

The moment she appeared at the venue, her beauty mesmerized many of the men in attendance.

Despite having been married and being a mother, Heather had a figure that could put any young girl toshame. With her light makeup, bewitching smile, and alluring air, she was indeed a specimen of rarebeauty.

Although everyone lamented the fact that such a gorgeous woman had been married to a loser such asAlex before, they had hopes of pursuing Heather now that she was divorced.

A brave middle-aged man who drove a Porsche was the first among the group to step forward. Hewalked up to Heather and greeted her with a smile, “Ms. Jennings, you’re as beautiful as the rumorssay you are”,

As this was Heather’s last chance to win Alex’s heart back, the last thing she wanted was to interactwith other men.

She paid the middle-aged man no heed, and her reaction wiped the smile off his face. Having beenignored and seeing that she was about to leave, he decided to stop her.

He grabbed Heather’s slender arm and pulled her back to his side. He wrapped his arm around herwaist and asked, “Ms. Jennings, you have divorced that loser. Why are you attending his wedding? Didyou get yourself all dressed up to save your relationship with him?”

Heather’s face contorted when her intention was exposed. In a fit of rage, she shoved the man whowas coming onto her aside and fumed, “What has that got anything to do with you? Don’t blame me forbeing mean if you get in my way!”

Heather didn’t expect to encounter such a situation in broad daylight. Nonetheless, she held back thehostility she displayed on the account that the man looked rich.

The man was Matthias Zabinski, and he lived in a nearby city. Having heard that someone had builtcastle for five hundred million to hold a wedding, he decided to come over to take a look.

Due to his proximity to Nebula City, he would visit often for business and had a good understanding ofthe current issues there.

No sooner had he arrived than he ran into Heather, whose enthralling beauty was the reason he hadapproached her brazenly. It was when he was unexpectedly ignored that anger welled up within him.

Even though he wasn’t someone of great importance, he was still treated with respect wherever hewent. He could not stomach the disrespect Heather had shown him.

On top of that, her beauty triggered the urge within him to bed her. He planned to use the opportunity totake compromising pictures of her and blackmail her into becoming his mistress, a plan which filled him

with excitement.

“Babe, stop wasting time on that coward. You might as well be mine, and I’ll provide you with a life ofluxury,” Matthias whispered in her ear.

Just as he spoke, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath, relishing in Heather’s scent.

All Heather felt was disgust welling up inside her, as this was the first time she had run into such apervert. She responded by stomping on Matthias’ foot before attempting to flee the scene.

Even though she couldn’t run fast, there was little Matthias could do in public. He had no choice but tofollow her slowly from behind so as to not arouse any suspicion.

Heather ran as fast as she could out of fear and bumped into a broad and muscular chest just as sheturned a corner. The impact left her in a daze.

When she saw who it was, she was overwhelmed with surprise and delight. She had never imaginedthat she would run into him.
