Alex could finally relax after they left for the first-class cabin. There was no way they could cause himany
trouble now.
Since the plane was about to take off soon, he had no choice but to turn off his phone. With nothingelse to do, he decided to rest his eyes while waiting for the plane to land.
However, someone on the plane was watching a video with the speakers on. It was so noisy that hecouldn’t relax at all.
Alex turned to look and saw that it was the grandson of the elderly woman who had spoken to Shawnearlier. It seems like he’s got the volume at its loudest.
A flight attendant noticed what was happening and walked over. She told the elderly woman with asmile, “Hello. The plane is about to take off soon. Could you please turn off your phone?”

Though she had spoken softly, the flight attendant could still hear her.
At that, the latter froze. She had only become a flight attendant not too long ago. While she had gonethrough training, she had never met someone like this in real life. Her eyes instantly turned red afterbeing insulted.
Nonetheless, it was still her job, so she couldn’t just leave. With the smile still on her face, she said,“Please turn off your phone, ma’am. You’re disturbing the other passengers.”
“Who am I disturbing now? My grandson wants to watch his videos. I spent so much money on thisflight, but you’re not even allowing him to do what he wants. This is so unfair,” the elderly womanpersisted.
Then, she patted on her grandson’s head and said affectionately, “Not even God can do anything toyou, my baby boy. I’m going to let you finish watching your video.”
As she spoke, she glared at the flight attendant as if trying to pick a fight.
The latter gripped the corner of her skirt and could no longer smile. A panicked look flashed across herface as she didn’t know how to handle the matter at hand.
Alex couldn’t bear to watch her in such a tough position, and they were also delaying their flight. He feltthe need to step in and help resolve the matter.
“You’re putting the flight attendant in a difficult position, ma’am. Hurry up and turn off your phone,” hepersuaded.
To his surprise, the elderly woman became furious at his words. She berated him, “How is this any ofyour business? So what if I’m putting her in a difficult position? Is it not her job to serve us when shereceives such high pay? Just shut up, will you?”
Alex had expected her to be stubborn. He didn’t want to continue arguing with her and decided to justsnatch the phone from her grandson’s hand to turn it off.
Right then, a man sitting behind them spoke up, “Hey, you’re the one at fault. Hurry up and turn off yourphone, will you? Or you can just get down from the plane.”
Hearing that, the old woman retorted, “Does this plane belong to you? How dare you ask me to get offthe planc!”
It would have been better if she had kept quiet. The other passengers started to criticize her andwanted her and her grandson to get off the plane after hearing her words

Her grandson was obviously displeased at how things had turned out. He cried and begged for thephone, but the elderly woman could only console him.
The flight attendant heaved a sigh of relief when it was finally settled. She then thanked everyone whohad helped her earlier.
She looked at Alex and said gratefully. “Thank you so much for helping me, sir.”
The man nodded in response and said nothing. But the elderly woman was glaring daggers at him forwhat had happened.
