Flynn was about to explode with rage. He did not see this coming at all, as he initially thought thewoman was Alex’s lover.
He stepped forward and slapped Haruko in the face. “How dare you talk to us like this? Don’t you knowyou’re in Eurasia? I’ll kill you if you don’t watch your mouth.”
Instead of stopping Flynn, Alex stood aside and observed them in silence. Let him teach this stubbornwoman a lesson since she refused to listen to us!

“Stop testing my patience. You better make up your mind before I leave ’cause I will not be responsiblefor what my men would do to you after this.” Alex was getting tired of dealing with Haruko.
Upon hearing that, Haruko panicked. Alex was the only person she could negotiate with, and if hedecided to leave, she would be in deep trouble.
“All right! I’ll pay ten billion for the formula, and let’s call off the bet!” Haruko said without hesitation.Alex grinned. “You’re very good at negotiating. Well then. I’ll take your offer.”
Alex instructed his men to release her with an eye signal. One of them handed her a phone.
There were red marks all over Haruko’s arms. She shot daggers at Alex before taking the phone.
“Takeshi, the man who got in our way was Alex, and now he wants us to pay ten billion for the divinepill’s formula. If we refuse to cooperate, he’ll expose us to the world, and he’ll only let me go once hereceives the money,” Haruko said over the phone.
“Ten billion? That’s a big sum. I’ll have to talk to Uncle Yama first. We’ll get you out as soon aspossible,” Takeshi said.
